Let's go back to the Curley Hallman type years. That will make it where people can't complain about losing a NC Game.

aban built the program to where it is today

PLEASE. Without Saban LSU doesn't have its first BCSNC and doesn't get the benefit of the doubt to get its 2nd BCSNC.

Saban's success brought in Moffitt, he caused the AD to finally spend money on facilities to help keep LA recruits at home. I'd say Saban built the modern era of LSU football. Without Saban, Miles wouldn't have the first class facilities he has to bring in recruits.

Miles has done a great job recruiting and hiring Pelini/Chavis. Other than that he's so fricking lucky it's not even funny anymore.

I agree with Bobby about the coaching blunder and non gameplan.
But,

1. Tennessee game is 99% Crowton's fault.

2. Ole Miss 2009 was something that happens to about evey coach sooner or later. The Wisconsin Rose Bowl this year was the same exact scenario. Not one person is making fun of their coach for not having a play ready with 2 seconds to go and no timeouts?

Bobby's problem is that he should just stick with appropriate criticism.

Yeah, why did we even agree to play? Take your head out of the sand

If LSU played the previous 13 games with the same emotion and focus as Monday they wouldn't have made it to any bowl. It was obvious from the end of the Nov 5 game that there was no real motivation from players or fans to play Bama again, regardless of Miles saying he would be "honored" to play them again.

Same thing happened with UF/FSU in 96-97. Does that mean there were glaring problems with FSU?

Face it, the BCS has been good to us in the past, this year they set us up to fail. If you think Saban was losing 3 in a row to Les with more than a month to prepare, then you need to take your head out of the sand.

You have zero credibility if you can't give miles any credit for where the program is today. It's been seven years man. SEVEN. Seven recruiting classes of miles recruits going through. How you can possibly continue to say this is Saban's program is getting embarrassing.

You idiots are unbelievable! No one is complaining that the team lost. They are complaining about the way the game was lost, Les gave up in the second half by leaving a totally inept JJ in the game. He could do nothing that a merely servicable QB would be able to accomplish, and was exhibiting his poutiness and blaming teammates.

He's a distant second to the Head Coach.
Right. A 13-1 season, conference championship, and #2 ranked team in the country is so damaging to our program. . . Idiot.

Moustache is the absolute worst of them too.

He still believes seven years later that this is still Saban's program. I feel bad for the guy.

T Bob was our most dominant OL

tell me he didn't say that.

there was someone on here claiming he knew T-Bob and that Miles refused to play him when a Seahawks scout came to see him late in the yr. also said T-Bob wasn't benched for a better player and goes on about PJ not being good. wondering if that wasn't Bobby himself.

He didn't say that. He said his son lead the team in knock downs and that they would have lost the Tenn game if T-Bob didn't snap the ball. You know he is dead on with that one

Inexplicably sticking with his boy JJ
There's nothing inexplicable about it. Miles has already explained this; he thought Jefferson gave our team the best chance to win. In hindsight, he might have been wrong, or he might not have been; we'll never know for sure. . . But it's certainly not inexplicable. He already gave an explanation.

Miles doesn't have anything to do with that?

I credit Miles for recruiting and hiring good DC except for 08.

He has been a complete failure on offense, which would explain why Gundy hated Miles.

Here are the games he got lucky in:

05 ASU----ref could've easily called Doucet's catch a drop.
05 AUB----If john Vaughn makes just 1 fricking field goal out of 5 easy ones we lose.
06 OLEMISS---Jesus down 21-10 in the 4th qtr? Lucky Jamarcus slung the ball in the air and Early pulled down the miracle throw.
07 UF---If the ref spots the ball correctly on Hester's 4th down run, we fricking lose. Or if we fail to make any of the other million 4th down attempts.
07 AUB--no words needed here. Absolutely retarded management of the clock.
07--WVU vs. PITT--If pat White never gets injured then Les doesn't get his NC.
08 Troy--Ain't too many 31-3 comebacks around.
09 MSU--They were 1" away from upsetting us. WOW
09 UGA---Thank god for a retarded ref calling unsportsmanlike and thank god for a lucky run by Charles Scott. Who calls a run in that situation?WTF?
10 UNC---They were a few yards away from a huge upset. Great coaching job here
10 Tenn--You can't deny this wasn't lucky.
10 UF---fricking bounce right into the kicker's hands? WOW. Ref could've easily reversed this.

There are a few more that could be included, but I'm giving the coaching staff the benefit of the doubt. If les loses just half of these, then he is nowhere near as forgiven as he is today. The guy is a great recruiter, but he is really no better a coach than Dinardo.
