Best of luck to the kid. He tried here. He would probably do better up in Natchitoches in all candor. Not sure he is a 1-A starter. 1-AA, good chance. Another place he would do decent is at D-3 Louisiana College. They have an offense that is quite compatible for him, and they are going to need a new starting QB going into next season. Not sexy, but will get him some playing time and headlines. Dennis Dunn would develop him.

Are you a betting man?

But you are right, it would almost be as big a melt as the day they hired Coach FREAKIN O...

Don't blame him at all. Super unpopular opinion, but the way he has been dragged through the mud and the mediocre play Etling has been allowed to get away with is quite sad.

When did Harris ever have a game like Etling had Thursday night?

Can we compare Harris vs UF and Etling?

When did Harris get to play a very down sec schedule under a much more open offense (no Miles)

He never got a snap. Not one..

I think Harris would have benefitted tremendously under a different style offense

Like when they fully released him and he nearly brought us back and beat st as a freshman

It's funny to me when Etling makes mistakes no one goes nuts but Harris got completely shite on and many still spread false lies about him.

Sad really.

I would prefer an actual open competition with a new OC and let him decide

Time for the Zachary kid to run the show imo
that is what the Broncos ran - a spread with this youngster at the helm. Reminds me of a Herb Tyler with speed.

Thank you

I was so sick of fans constantly trashing him because of what they perceived from one look

The players and commentators both praised Harris for how he handled it, yet many fans wanted to trash him and say he was immature.

I wish so bad he could have gotten some snaps in the new offense. Oh well

I ran into him last night at a local hmmmmmm well adult establishment. We talked and just hung out. He seemed defeated and that something was on his mind. Maybe that's what is was. I thought it' was the c section scars lol

You're source is wrong. As of right now Harris is not transferring. He isnt even strongly considering it. The qb battle is open for the spring.

Is there a reason he didn't get snaps? O was pretty dead set on saying eitling was their guy. After 3 quarters of jack shite they didnt even put Harris in. Maybe he showed a poor attitude?

There is a reason he didn't play.

Yea, keep going with the outlier game from over a year ago. You're a broken record. How about we compare their stats against Jacksonville State instead?

It's clear to everyone that doesn't have any sort of bias that Harris regressed with more time and Etling has improved. Harris is done here.

I'm not sure how all the transfer rules work but wouldn't he have to sit out a year?
