HC bonuses for “making the payoffs” shouldn’t it go away based on the seed you attain?

Let’s be honest here. A bonus for making the 4 team CFP is warranted, but is getting a bonus for being say seed 6-12 earned?
I would argue that seeds 6-12 are glorified participation trophies. There are not 12 teams that have the roster to win a NC.
Making the playoffs as 6-12 is not something to get off on.
Newsflash, there aren’t 12 teams that can win a NC. It’s all for show. Being the 6-12 seed as a glorified participation trophy
