The U-Thug and 'Dawg fans have major inferiority complexes with Fla. We don't because we measure up. Personally, I think it's cool when the Fla crowd does the gator chomp to the Jaws music.
I would have bet that we're far more of a detested fan base. People call us corn dogs, and accuse us of turning over port-a-potties with little old ladies in them. We incite Ole Piss people to write fake letters from Texas pitchers' moms saying how bad we are. The A&M people despise us just a notch below their hatred of the Short Horns. The Barners hate us because we've won 2 BCS balls never going undefeated, and they couldn't win one while going undefeated. Georgia hates us because we beat them in '03 [twice] when they had their best team, and then we played in the '07 BCS NC and they got squeezed out. Ole Miss hates us because they're a bunch of fricking pussies, and we constantly remind them that the last time they won an SEC football championship, John F. Kennedy's corpse was still fresh.

1. Tebow stuff doesn't bother me.
2. 2 bits is the gayest thing I have ever seen and what makes it sad is Gaytor fans think it is the greatest thing.

Don't mind Uf fans, most are great sports, just makes living here a LONG year when we lose to them.

I'm a big fan of tradition. It's a huge part of what makes CFB the greatest game on earth. And even if it's quirky to me as is the chomp it's one of theirs and original. Just wished the CFB world (and the SEC) would respect out TS night time tradition and stop moving all the games to the afternoon.

No, see that's what gets me. It is not original and it is sophomoric. The cheeleaders did 2-bits when I played youth football in the early 70's. I understand it is tradition, but it is an embarrassing one. The Gator chomp is "original." No one else does the Gator chomp, because, well, there are no other "gator" mascots. No one else does 2 bits, because it is LAME.

Maybe we're talking about two different things but I'm referring to the old gentleman in the white suit that comes out at half-time and leads the whole crowd in 2-bits. Granted, some other school-individual may have done this first so maybe it's not original in Gainesville.

For my part, I shook hands with a Florida fan leaving Tiger Stadium after the 2007 game.
