Well, as fans, it would be nice if we did, especially when he hasn't done anything to indicate we shouldn't.
Hatch showed no signs of being a bad QB. I can't understand the bashing. He far exceeded my expectations and I am 100% more confident in LSU's chances to succeed in the SEC this year.
If they have a case against Hatch then point out the plays he messed up on?
Where did he not manage the game that hurt LSU?
I just didnt see it. I was for Lee when the season started.
Now I am on the Hatch Bandwagon.
I think he earned some respect, at least he earned mine.
Go Tigers!

I would have read your reply, but I knew what you were going to say already. Call me psychic if you will. "BOO HOO HES RITE U SHULDNT HATE ON HATCH HE HASNT PLAYED MUCH YET UR JUST A REGULAR ranter BLAH BLAH BLAH U DESERVE THE COMMENTS U GET HES RITE UR A LOSER FAILURE HEHE BLAH BLAH"

Give me a break. Everyone here in their right mind wants to see a quarterback that CAN ACTUALLY BE MOLDED into something worth a crap. Unless we give Hatch steroids, I don't think he's going to be able to throw the ball much further than 10 yards. Lee did make some very terrible mistakes, but at least he has a very nice arm and the potential to be great in this league.

I'd also like to see what Jefferson has to offer.

hmm, spelling or not, Hatcheye makes a point...what purpose is served by tearing up a young athlete who's worked his butt off to play for the Tigers...so, so easy to criticize anonomously on this forum...I have a post-grad degree from LSU and I can spell!

Guys, we beat Bama in T-Town last year and Matt Flynn was not stellar. Sure he completed a bomb to Byrd, but he did not look like an SEC QB in that game and we won.

You frustrated, wanna-be, half-assed prognosticators trip me out! It's just like last year when people here were calling for Hester and Flynn to be benched in favor of their backups! Since when do any of you morons know better then Les Miles and his coaching staff?

Get a life you ignorant fricks.

Thank God Hatch can continue playing for The LSU without your dumbass approval.

as soon as you say off the mark shite like this any reasonable argument you may make is lost. There are some real problems with Hatch at QB, but throwing 25 yards past the line of scrimmage is not one of them.

Have you seen either play other than the limited O we ran last week? I bet the answer is no.

Have you ever seen JJ take a snap? I would be no on that one as well.

Hatch will be a Matt Flynn after one year of experience. He is smart and fast, but lacks the arm. We want Hatch with Lee's arm.

If Hatch is qualified to start for an SEC team, then I think we all deserve a shot to start for a college football team, as most of us are more athletic and can probably throw the football further.

I want Mike VI. He kicks arse. I do not want him until after the Bama game though. I think he will scare them.
