I enjoyed watching him play. Honestly, I was excited every time they threw Hatch in to run the option stuff. I'm sure a lot of people were excited to see him whenever his number was called in the game... (At least that's what the announcers said.)
He will be missed. Maybe if he started hitting the weights and protein seriously, he can be the Tim Tebow of the Ivy League. Afterall.. he did.. sort of trucked Brandon Spikes for the TD..
He will forever be a Tiger.. with a ring and a Harvard degree.

Let me repeat myself in this thread as well. Hatch deserves serious props for giving it everything he had. He also took some serious injuries for this team. I never doubted that Hatch gave it everyghing he had and played his best. He played like a freaking Tiger!
I wish Hatch all the best. He earned my respect this year.

quote:You know, we hear all the time about how difficult college football (especially the SEC) is for young QBs because the game is so much faster than they are used to in high school (or wherever they come from). I wonder what it's like in reverse? I wonder what the Ivy League secondaries will look like to a guy that's gotten used to reading D's like Georgia, Auburn, Florida, etc.? I wonder if the game will look like slow motion to him now?
Good luck to him back at Harvard. If he plays ball there I think hell be pretty good and respected for his SEC experience.
Anyway, good luck to you, Andrew. Thank you for what you did for our team, and here's hoping that you are as successful everywhere you go as you worked to be here at LSU.

quote:My guess would be that Hatch would rather have both.
A ring vs. a Harvard degree. Now which would I rather have?
