You don’t. It’s actually become quiet comical the way many Wade fans come here seeking to shut down any and all criticism after a loss.

It’s a basketball game. Teams lose.

There are a lot of schools that have to start over with new 5 star one and dones...and have done well. Kentucky did it for years. It can be done...but it is good to mix those 5 stars with good role kids.

We’ve have plenty of experience that last few season. He’s done a good job of finding solid two to three years guys to mix in with the Naz Reid’s and Cam Thomas one and dones.

This off season he has changed his recruiting and wants to only bring in guys that can and want to defend.

It's not "any and all criticism", dude. It's the dumb arse hot take criticism like:

Wade is a horrible coach
NIT bound
Wade can only recruit
Wade never has good defenses
Wade never has good offenses
This team will be lucky to win another game
These players suck
Wade needs to be fired

It's every game whether LSU ends up winning or losing. It's tiring.

You need a mix. We had guys return last year. It is the way the game is for just about all teams. They are all a mix of freshmen, transfers and role players. LSU took a big hit with losing miller. It has made a bigger difference with pinson hurt. Our depth at guard is shallow and those guys are playing a lot of extra minutes. Justice should be a hs senior and probably originally planned to be a redshirt. Gaines is a great change of pace. Probably not fully ready for so many minutes. Murray has had to play a ton of minutes making up for miller. I think we are seeing some wear on them. They still have their moments of great play. But at times we hit a wall.
Fudge was missing today. Hardly played. I didn’t hear anything on him. Was it injury or bad matchup.

But lashing out at all criticism is kinda not healthy. Ya know? That's why these forums exist. To vent...or celebrate. Some do it better than others. Don't respond to the obvious shite and offer perspective someone may not have.

I think it was more of a match-up and O’Neal getting minutes.

Right, which is why I don't lash out at "all criticism".

We are 16-5. With our particular combination of talent/experience, and with the crucial injuries we are just beginning to come out of, that 16-5 record is very good.

The next 6 SEC games are crucial for us. We need to play hard and play smart especially at crucial moments in games. I have seen us do that multiple times this year though not today.

IMO, we need to be 6-0 in our next 6. That will not be easy with 3 of those games on the road. If we win all 6, we will be 10-4/22-5 and that record would be outstanding going into Lexington.

IMO, the SEC title race is over: Auburn is clearly the best team in the SEC this year. Only a rash of injuries or Covid problems can keep AU away from the SEC title.

For the rest of us, we are playing for second place, byes in the SEC Ty, and NCAA Ty seeding.

Wade has consistently lost these 50/50 games against OOC opponents, and I’m not sure what to think of it

You realize that Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, Michigan St., and the UCLAs of college basketball have been dealing with complete roster changes nearly every year for quite a while.

It has never seemed to bother those programs much other than a couple years here and there.

If you want the best talent in the country to play college basketball at your program then you will have to deal with this on a yearly basis.
