Has it been mentioned, regarding JD’s stats, the new clock rules?

When comparing JD’s stats to previous great college QB’s, it needs to be noted teams got an average of 2 less possessions this year due to the new clock rules.

Makes it even more amazing

Very good point. Makes his #'s even more ridiculous when comparing him to the last 10 Heisman qbs

Why would it be mentioned? All the candidates are playing under the new rule. You compare stats to people playing this year not previous winners.

That is a really good point.

In practice, I rather like everything going faster, but there's no denying that fewer possessions caused by the new clock rules (and again, our defense, ugh) cost JD a lot of stats.
