nope, a projected 1st rounder is still on the board. Hope that is enough for him to come to LSU.

did yall not forget what happened last year?? It doesnt matter where someone is drafted, teams can still pay them first round money. This doesnt mean shite

Do y'all not have common sense? A 5th-7th round pick is much less likely to get 1st round money than a 1st-4th round pick.

True, and if you see a top 2 round type talent drop, it usually means they don't think he is easily signable. Which means he may be giving the vibe that he wants big money or is leaning to LSU.

The key word I used was "hope" not he "will" come to lsu now. I'm pretty sure no one has forgotten what happened last year as it has been posted about 2,000x in the last 3 days.

Or maybe he's dropping because his lost in velocity and his lack of having any plus secondary pitch.

The team that picks him will know how much money he wants.

It can happen, but it is much less likely for him to get the money this far down. There are exceptions, but they are just that, exceptions.

well if he was going to drop to the 6th round, he definitely fell to the right team.

After three starts, he was 1-2 with a 4.20 ERA.

The scouting reports reflected his slow start.

"His secondary stuff has not been sharp, and he struggles to throw any of those offerings for strikes," one report on MLB.com reads.

"Consistency," wrote Michael Huang of the Sporting News, "was his bugaboo."

"His main flaw is the lack of an effective second pitch," wrote ESPN.com's Keith Law. "He's been hit hard this spring, which I'm guessing is because hitters can spot his below-average breaking stuff and sit on his fastball."

How likely is it that LA has zero intention of signing any of the LSU guys they're drafting? I know it seems kinda funny, but I just can't see it working out like most are hoping.
