I said it in the other Harris / Jennings thread and I'll say it here...until they fix what's happenening in the trenches, nothing else matters.

I hope that I am wrong, but based on history, there is no way Les is going to start Harris. He's got JJ Jr. in there and the starting QB is doing exactly what Les likes.

and did it against less talented players. MSU already begin inserting subs. Until Harris is consistent I don't see how people can crown him. The OL and Leslie up the gut crap is more the issue. I believe Jennings can manage the offense if he had protection and run support. The defensive line is an issue, if the offense does their job, the opponent has less chances to wear down our defense. This is not the 2011 defense. They are young and inexperienced. Early defection the past two years has hurt us. That OL which is the best in Miles 10 seasons, is a joke and we have more of last night coming. There is no doubt miles hold on the offense after watching the video's of Cam's play calling and reflecting on the 4 OC's under Miles.

AJ reminds me more of marcus Randall than JJ.

he actually reminds me more of a young Mauck or Flynn. while he has some accuracy issues, I don't think his mechanics are nearly as bad as Randall or Jordan's were. given different circumstances (ie a better running game and playcalling), I think we'd be able to live thru his growing pains.

however, seeing what the circumstances are, and the fact that Harris just flat throws better than he does at the moment (and I'm not talking arm strength comparisons, he just looks to consistently throw a better ball), I'd like to see Harris get the job. hate it for Jennings, but it is what it is.

Said at the start of of the season, jennings is a placeholder. If Harris were a year older there would have been no competition
