Barry Manuel was my high school baseball coach(2004). He is a very humble man but of course we asked. At the time he said he held the record as he was clocked at 101. I've never seen that in writing but he was not one to brag.
Yep, comes from a good family and they're nice, good old Mamou people.

LaMarche could get it up there.
This was my first thought. A bit wild, but he could throw gas

Glad I am not the only old person around here who remembers Barry Manuel. Don't know his consistent velocity but I know the pop in the catcher's glove was the loudest I've heard!

Nick Goody hit 96-97 pretty consistently a few years ago. Got drafted after one year at LSU, and is now with the Yankees. His fastball was nearly unhittable.
Goody is in the bullpen for the Indians now

Ben McDonald. I don't recall exact details, so don't flame me to much if i screw it up....But Ben was called in to the game in relief in a series game, i think against Miami. It was an elimination game maybe so that's why he came in??? The last 3 batters for Miami were torched/fanned one after the other. Ben closed the game out and hit 100mph. He consistently was in the mid 90's and his curve ball was nasty.
