Hard to notice on Ipad but did Mike Jones play

0Isn’t he a top LB prospect? I saw Bugg (horribly out of position, Barkersville and Damone (dont get me started) playing.

on 9/8/21 at 10:36 pm to DwainwrightI do not think he played on defense. He did play some on special teams . He was rated at 1 time the best cover lb in the country . LSU didn’t feel the need to cover the TE in the game , so he didn’t play .

He is supposed to be a really good coverage LB, but the LBs didn’t cover anybody in this game so I guess he wasn’t needed..

Yeah, all of the hype shit, preseason news, recruiting rankings, etc. are all so damn allover the place these days that I don't give them nearly the amount of time I used to back when I was a student.
Jones was bad, but no carries for Corey Kiner will always take the cake for me in the UCLA game.
You're right though, why not let Jones try to cover a crossing tightend it can't get any fricking worse than what was already going on.

You have to check the statistics to see if practically any defensive player played. The angle they shoot the game at is not conducive to seeing who is out there.
