the hiring of this DC or that OC or even the next HC... isn't your decision. So give whoever they hire a chance and if it doesn't work, then the majority of the fan base will get what they want, and the CEO gone.

The majority of the fan base supports orgeron. Only on this rant are there pathetic losers pushing for orgeron to be let go.

Questioning this hire is not the same as wanting O to lose his job. Many of us think that being a good DC probably requires prior experience in that role. The skill set required to be a good position coach is entirely different from what is required of a coordinator. Success in one is no guarantee of success in the other.

This is not a hard pill to swallow. No one knows how good any of the hires for any school will be even the ones that you would like. He checks off a lot of boxes. I have no doubt the players will love him and he will be able to communicate properly and build trust and that's the name of the game. He had been a DC at the D2 level and had the #1 D in the country

He will get his chance. We can still root for him to succeed without blindly agreeing he will be a good hire.
