Happy with the win BUT...

Georgia’s quality wins have come against a 3-3 Missouri and South Carolina team. They also have a win against Tennessee as well. Georgia was so highly ranked because they are the defending SEC champs and CFB playoff finalist. This was truly Georgia’s first test of the season and they failed because LSU was the better team. Big win against #2 and very happy with it but LSU has to stay focused against Moo State and avoid a letdown leading up to the bye week before Bama.

I believe the season will prove Georgia to be a really good team. It was just the Tigers day. Just like it seemed like Florida's day last week. I get tired of hearing the "fill in the blanks" aren't as good as we thought AFTER we beat them. It was hands down the most complete game of the season and honestly the most complete game I've seen from the Tigers I can remember in years. Things could have derailed easily after last week but we owned the number 2 team in the country and I couldn't be more proud. Please Gameday crew.....pick against us every week.

FLA has one against LSU
Michigan got one against Wisconsin.
Oregon over Washington
Alabama over A&M
Clemson over A&M
A quality win is against a team in a Power 5 conference that have a winning record. Not .500 or below which is all of GA’s victories.
MS State’s win over Auburn is a more quality win than any of Georgia’s. Again I am excited about the win just putting it into perspective.

I agree that Ga is a top team but the next 3 weeks after the bye week will tell where Ga stands as they play FLA, Kentucky and Auburn. As the season continues every week contenders are separated from pretenders as two of our quality wins suffered defeats yesterday in MIA and Auburn. Hoping they can remain focused this week against State and head into Bama game with only the one defeat on the record.

This is always an argument, a valid one... but a moot one if we just be self-critical as we can be come Tell the Truth Monday.
Yes, UGA was untested.
But that shouldn't take away from how complete of a game we played. Not one bit.
The fact we defended our house with an excellent performance by a team that could have beat anybody last night.
Now the Staff have to just keep that team and performance showing up week after week, and improve in areas we need improving, then anything is possible.
That performance was something to hold up as a bar, and example to build on. And a confidence builder too. I mean that realistically- that team yesterday could beat any team in the country. We just have to keep it going.
