let say twelve schools for ten percent, does that make it business as usual?
In a single year...Yes, actually, that does kind of drive that point home.

That i know of, ONE school fired a coach the day after NSD which drives home my point.

What difference does one day or 4 make? In reality, none. But since you've been shown to be wrong on your original premise, continue to move the goal posts until the narrative fits

"tell me the last team that FIRED two position coached the day after signing day"
this was my original premise.
this was my original premise.

There is a big difference in one day or four, what if it would have happened the day before? It "proves" to some (opposing recruiters) LSU was just using those coaches to secure signatures, which is what the NO coaches are reportedly complaining about.

The best "firings" are the ones that happen AFTER NSD.

Juluke wasn't fired
Craig was actively looking for other opportunities
Orgeron did what was best for the team. That's his job even when it's not pretty.
Cheer up, we now have a NO football legend and one of the 3 best recruiters in the country on staff.
All is well(even though a handful of NO coaches have a wad in their panties)

There were all kind of moves made after NSD. Les always waited. This is a new staff, new head coach, and he did what he thought was right. He said in his official press conference he would evaluate and make changes. Now is the perfect time.

And even that narrative has changed in the last few hours. When this is a non story by Friday, will you come back and admit you're overreacting?
What you're mad about or worried about us LSU firing a coach soon after NSD. Had it come two or three days instead of one, you would be bitching all the same. It just makes you obtuse to claim otherwise. And your premise was that it isn't normal for HCs to wait until after the LOIs to be signed to fire assistants. You didn't hone in on the one day compared to 2-4 days others took until they were pointed out to you. Fact is, it is common and happened plenty just this year and within this conference.
Add to it... one of these unnamed coaches has already said the story is overblown just hours after it was reported. So yeah I think you're overreacting and need to relax
Like I said, this will be a non story within the week. Just because it made the twitter wire for a couple hours on a Tuesday afternoon in February doesn't make it devastating for recruiting

I am not reacting to the NO coaches, I was just trying to counter the numerous comments about how this is how it is, in what seems like protecting Coach O for what, in my opinion was a mishandled situation.

But it is how it is. Multiple P5 schools replaced assistants within a few days AFTER signing day. And it happens every year. Maybe you don't like it but it isn't something remotely unique to this situation. You think even coaches who took other jobs after NSD didn't know they were leaving beforehand? You think the HC at the schools they left didn't know? It makes no difference if they moved to another, were fired, reassigned, whatever. The overarching theme of it all is the disclosure to the recruits. This is literally the only thing that concerns anyone. And it happens everywhere and is a necessary evil if you don't want to risk tanking your signing class. Kids back out at the last second leaving coaches scrambling. It's all part of the business.
You, personally, seem to be worried about LSU not the system. I can assure you this won't be a blip on the radar in a week

so lsu should have fired them before nsd? leaving them with grimes as the only offensive coach from last years staff to recruit.
recruiting is a business. players do the same thing.

Understand your points, just stating mine, agree that it wont matter in a weeks time. I think the new hires will work out.

So what was the point of this thread? You wasted a lot of people's time. Congrats.
Go back to not posting.

This is no big deal and does happen all the time.
Also, Juluke was not fired and it will come out that Craig was fired with cause.
