The reason Burrow didn't run the ball after a certain point last season was because Brennan suffered a wrist injury and if Burrow was hurt LSU would've been without a scholarship QB to take the field.

I don't understand why that part was left out. It was left out to push a narrative.

So why could he run the ball vs Ole Miss but not a week later vs Florida? This excuse doesn’t make any sense

And I'm going to apologize that for that now. That absolutely is not my intention here. If/when it gets to that point I'm going to request that the thread be deleted.

That is true. He was hands on/supervising with Ensminger with the offense while Canada was just a face the rest of the season

Here's an excerpt from an article describing Brennan's injury.
Head coach Ed Orgeron revealed Monday that backup quarterback Myles Brennan has been dealing with an injury that has affected his throwing throughout the year and kept him from playing this season

The program is completely turned around. The talent level all over the roster is much better. We are still behind Bama on the line of scrimmage. We have relevant QB recruits lined up.
Miles had our programin a long term ditch. Chavis did not recruit worth crap.

An excerpt from another article.
Orgeron said of meeting with Brennan during fall camp. “Myles experienced a minor injury that was hampering his throwing throughout the year

Ok but why was he allowed to run in some games but not others if that was the reason? And if it was the real reason why didn’t Orgeron just say so? I’m not saying it isn’t a valid reason because it is but the actions and what took place doesn’t support it. It just doesn’t make sense.

I would have fired his arse after the pathetic showing against byu

You would’ve fired an OC after putting up 480 yards in his first game ever vs a defense coming off a season where they were ranked in the top 15? I guess you’ve wanted 0 fired since the Miss St. game and definitely the Troy game if not State?

Well this is revisionist history.
I remember the first line shift. The rant almost overloaded.

I watched the Bowl game of Miles first season, 2005, this evening. LSU vs Miami. I was surprised at the number of top athletes, Saban left Miles. Its disappointing how low he let the talent level fall.

Miles left Orgeron a record number of NFL draft picks at LSU.

Well this right here is exactly why I was pissed off for as long as I was.

We did not have the talent up and down the roster to support the Canada offense. And Canada was an arse from the first day.
We looked pretty pedestrian against BYU as well. And it was an awful BYU team.
Anyway that was 2017. It is now 2019. The roster has been reconstructed top to bottom.
What is the point of this nonsense anyway

Ugh, way behind vs MSU was only 2 sacks. Doesn't compute.

If Canada wanted a no-interference-clause from the HC, he should have negotiated it in his contract.
OC Gattis got one from Harbaugh at Michigan. And Canada demanded to choose his own assistants at Indiana - they told him no.
Canada may become a useful coach someday, but right now he's known as pain-in-the-arse.
Even if Lunitik claims he was "just looking for info", he's smart enough to know this would turn into yet another opportunity for the O-Bashers to attack Orgeron.
This is a hit-piece Loony. Own it!
