Lol sorry you can’t read, I said it was the last time I was going to explain when the meeting happened and when Orgeron was told to back off of Canada. On top of being illiterate you’re also an admitted hypocrite and a dishonest shill. Typical morning routine for you, kiss everybody’s arse, play the victim and pretend you’re the advocate of civility all while taking pot shots at people.

I'm not trying to single you out, Kingy because you are from the only one. But, I really wish we could get away from the nastiness in these threads before the start of the season. I'm simply responding to the last post. You and everyone else should post what you want when you want. These threads have gotten really ugly lately and IMO opinion it's very counterproductive.

Couldn’t agree more, if we could just have some honesty and cut out the underhanded tactics i think things would improve more than people realize.

I've always found it funny that I can have reasonable discussions with people like you, earl, Ricky, etc while also the same with Ree, Rog, First Cut, ben, etc. There's nothing special about me. I'm still under the delusion that we all have civil discussions one day.

Lol I actually had a short but civil back and forth with Roger yesterday. With some of these guys they hold grudges and will consider me an enemy forever. I think that’s the root to most of the problems with the discourse here, some guys take it way too seriously.

I don't get the idea of hating the coach and wanting him to lose. As you know, I'm a Mainieri fan and a lot of people want him gone. I've never once thought anyone actually hates him and wants him to lose. That's just silly IMO. I think may have said "maybe you will get your wish and we will lose" in jest here and there. But, I've never thought anyone was actively pulling for us to lose.

When it is all said and done, O is and was the coach, which gives him that authority. Last year's results were pretty good seeing what most expected.
Where is Canada now?
If he was that good why did Maryland not keep him as coach?

I’m not sure how anyone comes to the conclusion that Orgeron wanted to run the ball so frequently in 2017. It’s well documented that Orgeron prefers the USC offense that won two NCs while he was assistant HC. After he was hired in November of 2016, he waited for Kiffin (certainly not a run-first OC) to complete his HC interviews. Then this year he hires Ensminger and LSU throws the ball more than it has in many years. To bolster the passing game he hires a Saints assistant for 2919.
2017 is the outlier.

Nobody wants him to lose, even if by some twisted logic someone would want him to lose so he’ll be fired, none of the fans I know would be willing to sit through seasons of losing to achieve that end. That’s just one of those insane phony accusations.

He wasn’t the head coach at Maryland and they brought in an entire new staff. He was offered the Indiana OC position, the Pitt OC position and the Northern Illinois Head coaching job but he didn’t take any of them. Who knows he maybe holding out for a spot he has his eye on or maybe taking a break to recharge his batteries.

That’s simply not true. Orgerons offenses have thrown more than they’ve run twice in the 7 seasons he’s either been HC or interim. His first season at Ole Miss and his 3rd at Ole Miss and it was by fewer than 3 plays per game, fewer than a play the second time. Every other season he’s been heavy run and last season compared to Canada’s offense the rushing attempts were damn near identical: 2017- 43.3 rushes per game, 2018- 43.0 rushes per game. For his entire career his run pass ratio is 25.9 passes to 34.5 rushes per game, that’s 42.9% to 57.1% (Miles 39.1%/ 60.9%) so I don’t know where you’re getting this “Orgeron wants the throw the ball more”. Theory from. Not trying to insult you man but what you’re saying just doesn’t add up factually.

Why would he want to run from it? It's largely irrelevant. His motivations may have changed from one time period to the next. He's probably trying to do you a favor by not rubbing your nose in it.
