CEO was shite as old miss coach, we all know that. He got fired. He got another chance at USC and was passed up but he did very well there. He is learning and getting better. He is expanding our recruiting nationally. He has a buzz around the program that has not been around it since 2011. I respect that.

A bit hyperbolic no? All I said was use the composite ranking instead of cherry picking. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for some to admit the truth about him. Do you honestly believe he’s perfect? If you don’t then why get all hot and bothered over legitimate concerns and problem areas? Why do we all need to subscribe to the falsified success that hasn’t happened? Plus I wasn’t a Miles fan at all and I defensed Orgeron throughput his first full season here so it wasn’t any pre determined thing that caused my lack of faith, it was his actions and his results that did. Nobody’s more objective about Orgeron because I’ve been on both sides.

Ok and those are all valid reasons for you to be optimistic they’re opinion based, so although I’m also optimistic for different reasons, you can’t blame people for judging him on hard evidence instead.

it's still dumb as hell to have 1 loss in 2 years be the difference between firing a coach and touting the coach.
I wont even get into the fact that in 2 years we played 7 teams that finished the season with less than 5 losses and we are 2-5.

No I do not think they would have hired him if he was not already on the staff. He was though, so that is a moot point.

He was offered the Pitt OC job and Northern Illinois head job as well. And you didn’t read that about Indiana you got that from Buckeyes post which was made up.

I am not touting the coach but you take it that way as you are always on the defensive about a coach that was fired 4 years ago. 11-1/12-0 in the regular season or it may be time to cut bait with him.
