Handling of replay is what suggests something is amiss

I'll share my .02 that the real issue is not that the targeting was called. That was a legitimate judgement call and judgement calls will always be debatable.
However, these are all undisputed facts which demonstrate at the least a lack of integrity on the part of the SEC and possibly an intentional attempt to affect the outcome of games.
#1 - the call was "confirmed" by the replay official
#2 - the "review" took less than a minute
#3 - 16 hours later not a single photo, frame or video can be provided that it was definitively targeting.
#4 - the SEC office quickly issued a statement after game - yet provided no evidence or facts to support how and why White's hit was targeting.
#5 - Nick Fitzgerald initially refused to come off the field but was forced to by the officials. He showed no signs of being injured. He returned the next play. No explanation has been given for this.
From these facts, there is ZERO doubt that the replay official was incorrect in confirming the call. Had he merely said it "stood" that would have been defensible. The SEC could even have stepped in and called out the replay official for this while still maintaining that the call on the field was correct! The fact they didn't says all we need to know.

Would a BAMA player have been ejected for the same hit? All you need to ask yourself.

A bama player had a worse hit yesterday and didn’t get a flag.

The obvious refs on the take situation is bad...very bad, but we will use this as an intangible advantage come game day. God help the opposing team and fans from our pissed off fans, and the hate and noise that will be in that stadium in 2 weeks. If I was a Bama fan I would honestly just stay home.

I am not certain of this but I believe when a player is required to come off the field for targeting then said player is required to go thru the "concussion protocol" which I do not think Nick did....

Someone needs to just doxx the refs info and let the fans take justice in to their own hands. Like Teabow

He didn't. He was on the field the next play.

The fact that we all know exactly who Tom Ritter is, tells you all you need to know

I say the SEC Office should maintain an appearance of NO Conflict of Interest. What they should do at the LEAST is: Ensure that there are several officals to review the replays and that they have absolutely NO connection to ANY SEC schools, such as: Alabama or Auburn.

I have heard it was Al Ford, a retired insurance agent from Alabama.
If the SEC office had a replay angle that confirmed the call they would release it. The fact they haven't is proof that the replay official incorrectly confirmed the call. The fact the SEC hasn't stated that confirms their complicity in whether happened
