Hmm....actually, we are plenty deep.
LOL, no you're not. It's likely you won't have a single 2nd team OL member who's taken a college snap. Guess what, that means you're not deep. I live in Atlanta chump, every other month I see the update on how bad the outlook is on the OL for UGA in the AJC (straight from Richt's mouth). You are not deep. Having a bunch of 2nd teamers who have never played means you're NOT deep.

We only return two starters when we had THREE freshmen starting last year?
Yes, you had three freshman starters last year. Trinton Sturdivant was one of them. Trinton Sturdivant will not be playing this year. You return 2 starters on the OL now.
3-1 = 2
See how that works?
Dumbass...

I'm glad somebody else has finally jumped on my "UGA's O-line and offense sucks" bandwagon.

Their offensive line and offense wasn't good to begin with.
Their OL was just average as far as it goes i nthe SEC for this year. Now it's definitely dropped down to one of the worst.

Back to the pound with his tail between his legs.
We'll sure see how that "deep" OL blocks Jackson, Ricky JF, & co.

I heard he was concerned about his friend at the hospital, so he decided to break a parking lot barricade and a bunch of potted plants.

Get this. BEFORE the Sturdivant injury they were looking at having 1 sophomore and 4 freshmen on the 2nd team OL. Now with the Sturdivant injury, the only guy with any experience on that 2nd team OL, will likely move up to 1st team. Now that's depth for you, 5 guys who have never played a college snap

Many dawg fans feel better about our situation this year than last (even with Sturdy out). The reason is simple. Last year at this time UGA had 2 OL who had EVER taken a college snap. 2!
This year that number is 7 (with Sturdy out it's 6). We certainly have a young OL, but compared to last year it is "deep" and "experienced". I know that sounds nuts, but it's true.
That said, OL is a weak spot on this team.

can't imagine Richt is looking forward to Death Valley with NO Left Tackle. Keep an eye on this position for the Dawgs early on as Stafford could get blindsided several times this year.
Pretty sure they'll haave a replacement. Look, it's a shame the kid went down, but they got plenty of talent.

I know the situation is better this year o nthe OL than last, however, you cannot use the word "deep" to describe your OL. When not a single 2nd team guy has taken a college snap, that's not a deep position for you.

Probably the weakest next to possibly WR or the secondary.

yep,......sounds like good ole LSU football depending on others loses to be your gains.
Thats pretty sad!!!
But, Cordy Glenn (6'5 315 4 star #15 in the nation) will be stepping in to Sturdivants position with no problem and it is fortunate that if it had to happen, that it happened early. By the time we get to the LSU game he will be plenty experienced.
So don't chalk up that victory just yet pussycats ,..that QB situation ya'll got should concern you way more than our OT.
I'm more concerned about SC than LSU anyway. I think we make it 3 in a row and ya'll will officially be our SEC west BEOUCHES!!

Yea, the only team to win 2 BCS championships and continues to reload talent year after year this decade is really nothing to worry about.
It must be tough to live in the land of the best college football program around these days, I can understand the chip on your shoulder.

If we were playing the teams that won those 2 BCS championships I might be more concerened...
you do realize its not the same team don't you

You do realize its the same program that has won 2 championships recently don't you? That its the same talent level? Its so recent we have a player on the team with 2 BCS Championship rings.
But why be concerned playing a team like that in their house? You've got this years preseason national title, and that shows that your football program is in much superior shape this year!
