For the record I know every single gymnast on the roster and am really good friends with most of them.

Have a daughter or granddaughter become a gymnast and come back and talk to us.
Many of us support ALL LSU athletics regardless of gender or record because we want the best for those carrying the purple and gold banner.

No doubt the most talented athletes on campus. Often great athletes can be good and successful in sports. Gymnastics goes to a whole different level. Great athletes may still not be outstanding gymnasts. It takes so much hard work and attention to detail with such small margin for error.

Agreed. I haven't watched a moment of it. But its an LSU sport and I hope we do well in all sports. Those who only pull for the popular male sports are bandwagoners.

You can always tell the idiots on here who never graduated from, let alone probably never attended, LSU. As an alum, I like many others on here, care about and pull for all LSU sports no matter how popular or obscure they may be to the general sports world. And I love the fact that our gymnastics team is relevant and competing for championships. Heck I was excited when LSU was doing well in the national Quidditch competitions.
I'm all for people of this state, and across the country, pulling for and supporting LSU. But it is ridiculous when they want to proclaim one sport should be more important than another simply because they have no ties to the school other than for being a fan of said sport.
