Guys...perhaps Burrow and Brennan are just better; Credit to Brennan for sticking in there

I mean come on y’all. People on here are acting like LN and JM were 1st team all Americans and top 10 picks in next years NFL draft.
I think them transferring just shows that they know that Burrow has this job and these guys want to see the field but can’t beat him out.
After seeing Burrow’s OSU highlights and his spring game play, how many of you really thought LN (with no collegiate snaps) or JM was better than Burrow?
This was an expected outcome.
I’m actually more excited this morning knowing that Burrow gets more reps with the 1s and that there are more reps for Brennan so he can develop and be ready if the time comes.
Also, how about some credit to Brennan for sticking in there and continuing to work.
Brennan knows he needs to physically grow and mature. Man shite it’s actually refreshing that in this generation of now now now, he recognizes he just needs to grow and wait his turn.

People get mad anytime a kid quits. They may have pretended to have sources and said Narcisse was all world.

There's several threads already where we've been praising MB for being a true Tiger and seeing it through. Matt Flynn played sparingly until his senior year and led us to a championship. Brennan will get his turn and it looks like he's wise enough to grow and wait his turn.

Narcisse has a strong arm and can run. That's it.

Burrow and Brennan have better credit?
Racist.

Only getting wild-cat packages should be a slap in the face to any QB. But when you only have
it is what it is. It's comical how many people came in here saying he was the next great thing.

I was annoyed by the grammar correction but then I read the punch line.

I think its pretty classless to do it together. Nothing in life is giving to you, we all need to work for it.

But why? How are we recruiting QBs? Are we guaranteeing them a starting spot? I don't get why QBs come here only to leave when they find out they won't start. Players transferring isn't a good thing, especially Narcisse, we could have used him.
So far, O has done nothing to correct the QB issues we've had under Miles. Bringing in transfers from other schools isn't going to help out in the long run. We are a Power 5 program, we should have the coaching ability to develop QBs we recruit - isn't that one of the reasons Miles was fired?

Perhaps. I mean the only reasons for BOTH of them transferring would be that Burrow is clearly the starter and Brennan is clearly number two and they have no real plans to redshirt him this year after all. Otherwise one of them staying would be pretty much guaranteed playing time which always keeps your hat in the ring for being made starter due to injury or faltering play.

Why do sometimes other qb’s sit the bench at other top tier schools? Because they are a part of a winning team and for the opportunity to compete. Here they know they arent winning the SEC so at this point why not go start somewhere else.
How do the O pumpers not see that he is the disease and both him and Alleva need to go?!

This happens everywhere. Burrow left OSU when Urban chose Haskins, Clemson just lost QB's as well, Hurts will leave Bama soon. Kids transfer all the time when they can't get on the field at a school. It is what it is, best of luck to them.

Yes, but it's been a problem for us for many years now. And our QB play is nowhere near as good as Ohio St and Clemson.
