Recruiting advantages and other resources are elite. Most would kill to coach here.

Can you give me a rational answer why if there is one?

because he would rather be stubborn with his system and beliefs rather than adapt and improve

he left our most stacked overall rosters in history and miles almost did so poorly that we didn't even win a conference title with it

once that roster left/graduated, we've won the SEC once and no national titles

it's enjoyable once you give up hope of winning national titles and only winning rare conference titles

So finishing top 10 6 of 10 seasons, playing in 2 national titles games, winning a national title, winning the west 3 times, winninng the sec 2 times isn't good enough while playing in the hardest division in cfb?

From 2009-2013 all of 4 programs were able to win 9 games a year and lsu was one of them. 99% of cfb programs can't win 9 games every year but finishing top 15 8 out of 10 years isn't good enough for you?
I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base.

An interesting dynamic that may play out is to see how much credit you give the new coach for winning games with les' talent.

Something tells me you won't give Les any credit like you STILL give saban 11 fricking years later.

Saban built the program that LSU is today

Agreed.

how many does les have in twice the time?

I don't think that's completely fair. Miles had a championship-level team in 2011. Probably better than any team Saban ever fielded at LSU.

2005-2007 talent was amazing

our best overall team was 2006. #2 was probably 2007 and #3 was probably 2005

2011 had the best D talent but our offense was shite and our QBs were terrible

Misleading to the point that it can be considered false.

Miles inherited a 3 loss team with a cluster frick at the qb position. It's like you only want to remember thing the way it makes Miles' look bad. Then there was the whole worst natural disaster in us history thing.

I've never said everyone else maximized their talent. But championship teams usually do. Do you want LSU to win championships?

And I don't hate Miles. I said in my thread that I've went back and forth with my feelings on his future. I think he doesn't utilize his offensive talent because of his game planning. I think he's a great man and a great father and I hope he's remembered in a positive light.

not with what LSU did under Saban and what we did with the remainder of his roster after he left

i just can't see how you can say you're a fan of LSU when your expectations are so low and you've resigned yourself to never winning another national title

No its not. 4 teams out of 126 were able to win at least 9 games every from 2009-2013. That's not misleading at all dumbass.

Then you're a fricking dumbass. The best 10 years stretch in lsu history isn't good enough for you. As of you've done anything to actually help lsu football be better.

He only wants to credit saban talent. It's obvious.

I knew SFP was a sabanite but I didn't realize he totally discredited everything since he left. It's s little ridiculous and ruins most arguments from an other wise intelligent guy.

His 2004 season was. JRUSS wasn't a great qb until is 2006 season when. He became the best qb in cfb.

2007 was great , 2006 over rated by our fans. We did not become an excellent team until past UF game. Its a myth that it was consistently good all year. Too bad a football season is 12+ games and not just half of that:). 2011 was terrific in spite of Lee and Jefferson. The rest of the offense outside of QB position was more than fine. 2011 team may end up being the best CFB of all time to lose the championship game.
