Started slow and finished the season looking like a Friday guy last year.

I loved it when Ben McDonald was making commentary on Jump and had already thrown 3 high velocity pitches. On the fourth pitch it was a beauty. High velocity with pretty good location. It was an impressive pitch, impressive enough to shut Ben down from talking and I can see the wheels turning in his head, “okay that was a good pitch, but show that you can do it again”.

Then on his fifth pitch Jump placed one low and outside in the strike zone in the mid 90s and sat the batter down. You can hear Ben have his question confirmed when he immediately responded, “mmmh!”

I enjoyed that moment a little too much…

So it definitely looks like a minor issue with his back from the outside looking in.

Canno pretty much confirmed this on hannycast this week. Id expect a slow ramp up where he's ready to start by SEC play
