If you have to win a game with a great QB,
you do not have a very good FB team. OM and Vandy
need a great QB to win, because the rest of the roster sucks.

I don't place the Tigers in that category, so it's a moot point. We will be fine.

I'm sorry, I don't quite get all the fuss...Wasn't Lee one of the top QB recruits out of the state of Texas 2 years back??? I'm not quite sure I follow the trail of paranoia and comments that this guy is is worse than Marcus Randall, Sol Graves, etc.

What the hell do some of you expect out of this guy as a red-shirt freshman??? Obviously a guy with some experience AND talent would be preferable, but God the guy was a 4 star recruit! It's not like he's gonna go out there against Auburn and sh#t his pants.

Nevermind, what am I thinking? We are destined to drop games to Bama, UF, USC, Miss State, Auburn, UGA, and oh! Can't forget Arky since we never win in Little Rock anyhow. Yeah, we're done. Stupid quarterbacks...Ryan would have done so much better...

OK, now Gilblow is the expert on LSU? Come on, this is one of two to three references on the first page of TD.com about this guy. Let's move on, please! He's no fan!

this is the worst QB situation we've had in a LONG time

I can't think of a worse one. Randall/JR was a walk in the park compared to this because Randall > Hatch.

Josh Booty could led this team to an SEC title with all the talent we have on offense, but damn i really hope Lee steps it up because i think that his passing mixed with Hatch running will really benefit us. That said, it is wishful thinking to assume that one of these guys is going to do very well. We could really struggle if we become one dimensional.

He'll work the game plan according to the talent just like he did for the SEC Championship game. We'll run, then spread them out, quick pass here, run some more. underneth screens. We'll use our speed and offensive line, then pop off a 15 yard pass, etc. They don't call him "The Wizard" for nothing. We'll be fine. He'll make our QBs look like heros.

What's the fuss? Everyone knows what our QB situation is. It's just fine. There isn't a QB on the roster that will be first team all SEC, but who cares. All they will be asked to do is not make mistakes, and get the ball into capable hands. Nothing has changed since RP was given walking papers. Last year the best QB talent on the team was RP, still Matt Flynn started. I trust the staff to put in the right packages necessary to utilize the talent we have.

Rest assured. If there had been a joke there, I would have gotten it. See, a joke has to be something that elicits a laugh. Your comment did not come close.

It wasn't a joke. He was using a little back-handed sarcasm to make a point. You just didn't catch on.

SEC defenses are very good. It will take much, much more finese than just handing off the ball. This is not the 1970's. We have to throw the ball and use some unpredictability to win games. That puts an awful lot of pressue on the qb. The team's success will depend greatly on the play of the qb, no matter how good the line and the running game. If anyone thinks we can win like last year by simply handing off the ball, you're nuts.
