Q: how do you tell when a lawyer or coach is lying?
A: their lips are moving

They're suing LSU because:
It took a month from symptoms to diagnosis and they're mad even though it wasn't the tumor that caused his condition it was the surgery
I knew someone who had a tumor that went undiagnosed for forever and they passed away due to that
Even if it took a month that's way better than the general public
They're trying to make LSU look bad to:
A: get a lot of money
B: get it quickly

I don’t think you should have to sue LSU to get paid if you get hirt playing football. LSU should carry insurance on the players.
I’d guess The Brooks family paid $0 for all of his medical bills. Obviously they still have additional medical expenses to care for Greg now & his rehabilitation. LSU also launched a campaign to raise funds for him & his family. I’d be very surprised if they have had to spend any money out of pocket.
They’re just upset he isn’t getting NFL money & trying to blame someone

What do you consider “relevant”? They aren’t suing Brian Kelly for not contacting Greg.

It was monumentally shitty to see Strahan describe how difficult it was to detect his daughter’s issue and then turn around and take LSU to task with how they responded.

I hold no ill will towards the Brooks family because they have to do what’s in their best interests, but I don’t believe for one second. CBK just cut bait on him. The optics of this is for a settlement to help Greg with his life care. So I get it, but maybe there’s a better way to go about it.

yep. they were counting on a fat nfl contact, now they're taking whatever they can get.

Well, there’s your grounds to sue. The coach was in touch for the first few months and then wasn’t afterwards. Now our feelings are hurt. So now we have to sue. So dumb.

Is it possible LSU and attorneys told Brian Kelly NOT to comment on the matter or contact Greg Brooks until the incident was concluded? Yes, that's what usually happens. BK was a victim of media-bashing because it is good for ratings.

Genuine question, what did the attorney or family lie about? Because the attorney has specifically stated something that he feels Brian Kelly lied about.

You mean the coach that lied about the facts and circumstances surrounding the death at ND when he was head coach is Lying now in the Brooks case? Why is anyone shocked?

Why is it such a big deal if CBK wasn't in contact after Oct 2023? It does seem a little heartless, but we also don't know the whole story and likely never will. There's likely a lot more to the story, for instance, maybe LSU caught wind of the Brooks' family's intention to sue LSU not long after the surgery, but didn't actually file the lawsuit until later. So LSU would have told CBK to cut off contact at that point.

They reference how they had "not heard from Coach Kelly since October 2023, long before the lawsuit was filed".
The dates that would tell a complete story are:
when did the Brooks family contact a lawyer?
when did Kelly stop visiting?
I would bet everything I have that the lawyer came first.

I’m done giving a crap about this. Which is really sad to say because I wish nothing but the best for Brooks and his recovery and life moving forward. Just sick of this public crap. Whether or not BK contacted him over a period of time has 0 to do with the damn lawsuit.

That kids own parents don’t even blame BK for their child’s death.

Have you read the actual petition? There are lies everywhere
Like here, the entire premise
Dr. Gaynor is well known and extremely accomplished in THIS EXACT SURGERY. That isn’t an opinion. They can try and argue if they want he screwed up, but calling him unqualified is insane

the kid's ego was bruised, LSU athletes are, and have been pros for quite some time, they expect to be hand held, coddled, appeased to, and spoiled, but when it comes time for NIL or transferring for more of the same, "it's a business!" as usual, the kid and his family wants it both ways, I'm not a fan of Kelly but he's got a job to do, a business to run, as it were, he really doesn't have the time to be holding every kid's hand and babysitting them 24/7
