Are teams trying to avoid headcases like Antonio Brown and Odell?

Greedy has always only cared about greedy. This is a team sport. Some players with overwhelming talent can get away with that. Some can’t.

Maybe going by the name greedy instead of real name was the first clue... he sure has shown he’s pretty greedy

To make it in the NFL you have to love football, you don’t last if you’re only in it for the paycheck. Perhaps teams got the idea that he doesn’t love football. Not sure why.

Greedy focused on just not getting hurt this season. That turns off teams because they don’t know if it is you trying to just not get hurt before going pro or as others said being soft.
And TBH, they probably don't care either way.

If a guy is soft, then he's soft. If a guy is saving himself in order to preserve his career before the draft, then what makes you think he wouldn't do the same thing after the draft, except maybe in contract renewal years. Either way, you're unlikely to get a great return on your investment. If you show adversity to take risks, there's no way you will perform up to your potential in the NFL. His adversity to lay wood instead of going for ankle tackles supports that perception.

In addition, he not only sat out the bowl but he indirectly got roasted the entire game with all the commentary about how thin LSU was at CB and having to resort to using WR's. It emphasized more than typical the fact that he bailed on his team when they needed him.

Greedy is a true tiger. He chose to come play for us and he made us a better team whenever he was out there. I don't knock him for what he did and appreciate him for representing tiger nation. But if these younger kids want examples of how to handle yourself to enhance your stock vs hurting it, all they need to do is compare Devin vs Greedy.

BS. Only one CB went in 1st round. Same thing would have happened if he played in the bowl game.

This idea of bypassing bowl games because you are going to declare for the draft doesn't sit well with a lot of NFL people. Up until the last few years I've never heard of draft eligible players bypassing college games. IDK if that is why he has dropped so much, but sitting out the bowl game certainly didn't help his image going into the draft. Some people think it's a smart move, but these NFL people scrutinize every single minute thing these players do. If you are going to invest a lot of money into something you'd want to make sure you check it out completely. Some of these NFL people look at him sitting out the bowl game as a selfish move. I don't really see it that way, but I'm not the one investing several million dollars on anybody.

There was only one cornerback taken in the first round. That corner won the Thorpe award

Also of note for the LSU retards, that corner also sat out his bowl game

Solid comment

These nfl teams psychoanalyse everything.

he doesn't tackle

wouldn't have helped him to stay another year so his stock is what it is

These two statements contradict each other...unless you think it's not possible to improve tackling.
