In his first year Lane Kiffin took a 3 star dual threat who Bama had switched to RB for a couple years at one point, and had him break Alabama records in pass yards, total yards and total TDs. In his second year he took a run first true freshman QB, and had him in the heisman discussion. That true freshman QB had more pass TDs in his first 13 games than ANY LSU QB has had since 2007. He also had more passing yards than any LSU QB since 2013.

So he’s not even out the door yet and already talking negative in the media. He announced he was going to the draft and sitting the bowl before speaking with his coach. Sounds like a swell guy. Maybe his nickname should be selfish.

Hey Greedy, bama had 295 yards passing and 281 yards rushing. That's almost 600 yards of offense (just rushing and passing). Think before you speak.

Isn't this the difference in every game? The whole idea of sports in general. The team that scores more wins the game. Why so much conversation over this? Am I missing something?

They didn't always have Hurts and Tua.
JPW, McCarron, Coker and the others weren't as mobile or as good. That has helped; but face it Bama's offendes have never been average. They would grind you up and mix in big pass plays. They do spread it more to take advantage of their QBs and speed at receiver.
Kiffin left two years ago. They've rotated OCs since and have gotten better. The common denominator is talent not OCs.

USC has been the top PAC 12 team in recruiting every year for the past 5 years and not a single first team PAC 12 member was from USC
The difference isn’t talent (which is nessesary, but we do get the talent), the difference is having a system in place to DEVELOP that talent and put them in situations to be successful.

Tua, while healthy was helping himself with his feet as needed. He sure ran through our team. He was a strong thrower and s strong situational runner.
And Hurts is good too.
