he is so ridiculously afraid of getting injured and being unable to provide that he is unwilling to finish out the season. It is absurd.

If it were me in Greedy's shoes, I'd have a hard time not playing in the game. But he obviously feels he has a legitimate reason not to play in the bowl game.
I think the fans who have cheered for him and supported him during his time at LSU should thank him for what he's done for the football program, wish him well and then shut the frick up about it.
For all we know, maybe he has a problem with o and decided it was time to part ways.

If you were basically guaranteed a multimillion dollar contract and you had a two year old daughter to provide for, you're telling me you wouldn't do everything in your power to protect that contract? If nothing else, for her sake.
If so, that's what's

absurd.
You have no idea what sort of household he grew up in, what he had to do to and avoid to get through his school, get a scholarship to LSU.
Now he's a father and has to provide.
Get over yourself.

eah, what a great role model. "My dad is a quitter."
I would hope people don't think of him like that but that is much more likely to happen than any career ending injury is. As a father he is not only supposed to provide but to be a role model for his kids. What kind of example is he setting when he is saying it is ok to quit on your team.

His teammates are already grown. He has that daughter to think about.
He has to think of her future.
Good Lord

that is probably what affected him and why he became like this. I was just raised differently with different kind of role models and values. What ever it was it seems to have instilled a lot of fear in him and a very risk adverse nature and not a lot of loyalty to team

Like what?
Let me ask you this, why don't you go out tomorrow and spend every last cent you have to your name.
Because you have loved ones that you want to provide for as well. You want to protect what you have in the bank. (Or does that make you afraid?)
Same idea with Greedy.

The same kind of example o set when he quit the LSU football team as a student athlete in the seventies and when he quit the USC Trojans team in 2013. Before the bowl game I might add.
Like I said earlier, maybe greedy doesn't get along or had a falling out with o and felt like, if it's good for the goose (o quitting one his team), it's good for gander (Greedy quitting on his team).

Ready to set a downvote record, don’t get a girl knocked up as a student, particularly when you’ve no way of supporting anyone. Stupid, but prevalent ghetto mentality that he is responsible for dragging everyone out of the ghetto, and everyone will be part of the posse.

I don't know about the "knocking up" part, nor do I need to know but he has a way of supporting his daughter.
Deal with it.

yes I am not saying anymore as it doesn't matter but he just is what he is and nothing is going to change that, he was just raised a certain way. Hope it works out for him. It is just a sad statement for the culture of our country that this is accepted as a normal, even good, way of living. Good thing we got WWII out the way when we did or we would be fricked if this generation had to handle up on something like that. More power to him and I hope the money makes his life happy

From Allendale in SHV, rough as it gets, somehow managed to get a scholarship to CBA

He has a way of supporting his daughter, correct? Which is exactly what he's currently doing.
Yes or no?
Hint: It's the opposite of no.
So get over it.
I'm done.

Such a great comeback, and full of logic and reason!
I’m done.

I’m done.

one last time.
you can play in a bowl game and still go into the NFL DRAFT WITHOUT IT HURTING your draft status. Thousands of players have done it before Greedy for many many years. Very few have ever had career ending or draft altering injuries. Literally nothing is stopping a person from being loyal to your team and team mates and PLAYING in the bowl game and going into the nfl to provide for his wife and little girl. . It is being irrationally risk adverse, it is not a good way to go through life nor is it a good character trait.

A PERSON CAN DO BOTH . LITERALLY NOTHING IS STOPPING HIM FROM DOING BOTH OTHER THAN AN IRRATIONAL FEAR

You just don't get it.
