In what sports?

Per wikipedia

Virginia has won multiple national titles in five different sports, including three men's sports (lacrosse, 6; soccer, 5; and boxing, 2) and two women's sports (lacrosse, 3; and cross country, 2). It also holds a national championship in track and field.

Boxing isn't a sport in the NCAA any longer. LaCross is only played in the Eastern part of the country. And Soccer is only played so that the minor sportsmen and women can play at the College level. So if you take those 15 titles away you only have 4 titles. WoW that is tremendous! 4 titles!

No question UVA got jobbed on several calls, but LSU also played phenomenal D, had 14 hits including 2 homers with men-on (meanwhile we left 14 men stranded), and shut us down with Coleman and Otts in the final 2 innings

UVA got jobbed on 1 call. The fair ball down the left field wall. The 1st basemans foot WAS off the base and Nola did get the bat back and did get hit on the fingers. Clearly showed in replay. What else did you get Jobbed on?

I thought the 1st base call was a little ticky tacky.. meaning I think I seen that a hundred times, but always called an OUT.

LSU should not feel they earned this one fully. That triple turned single was fricking huge

We feel we earned it. Give you a run for the triple and you still lose by 3. Have a nice day.

foul call, first base call, 2nd base call, HBP... all should've gone the other way in my opinion. slowed down each on the DVR and that's what i saw. at best, each could've gone either way but all went LSU's way. ridiculously inconsistent strike zone was unfair to both teams (go figure). but it's baseball, it happens.

but more than that, we killed ourselves leaving 14 men on base and choosing inopportune times for our big plays.

regardless, LSU simply beat us and deserved the win. clutch, timely hitting and game-saving defensive plays were the difference.

i'm looking forward to Monday when i can pull for both teams again

First base call was a good one....the first baseman needs to learn how to stretch without stepping off the bag. 9 times out of 10 that call is made as it was with him lifting the heel and stepping off like that. The rest were definitely bad calls. All in all though none of those calls were back breakers for UVA. The bats just werent on at the right times and ours were. So goes the game of baseball.

No offense to UVA, because they are a good ball club, but 'they aint on LSU's level'.

Yeah.... the HBP call was legit. The tag at second was legit, too.

Congrats Virginia you played a great game.

The call did go against you but the third base umpire was blocked and im not sure the home plate umpire could have seen it either.

Want to go back to last year and see some calls that went against us that umps got wrong.

I think karma just was on LSU side this time where they went against us last year for sure.

It happens and it isnt really how we want it. We all would prefer that the umps get every call right but it aint gonna happen.

But LSU was the better team on this night and leave it at that. Your team came back and took the lead so you cant say we didnt earn it and have credibility.

Good luck and one thing LSU has learned is you have to keep playing them 1 game at a time.

On any given day all eight teams can win or lose just based on that day. Forget about this one and get your guys up for CSF.
