LSU's not doomed, but at some point, all the recruits have to transfer to on field success.

This is his year. If he can't achieve with these players and coaches, it's time to go.

No hard feelings, that's just the way it is.

This is my humble take on the situation. Joe vs Les. Les won the last round. Joe has decided to stop limiting Les' budget for talented assistance coaches, thus giving him all the rope he needs. So after the 2016 season we will know who was right and who won. Either Joe or Les will still be there for the 2017 season. Get the popcorn ready.

So what is it he's supposed to say? Because pretty much everything gets rehashed on here.

With regards to articles, the Rant goes like this:

Article negative towards LSU = writer is a hack job who doesn't know anything about sports.

Article positive towards LSU = great article by so-and-so

Actual content of article matters not.

I would not say no excuses, but really the only valid one would be if our team suffered multiple injuries. Other than that, you are dead on.

I tend to agree on the injuries front except there was no excuses granted this past season for the four key guys we lost during the stretch in November.

This offseason is the best offseason ever in a very long time.

Last season everybody freaked out because our offense had sucked for too long under Miles/Cameron and the team was not even competetive against bama.

This offseason LSU retained Miles & Cameron and while LSU was supposed to have the greatest recruiting class in the history of recruiting, bama ended up having the consensus #1 ranked recruiting class.

Sure, the two new hires are good, but you people go way overboard hyping yourselves up over some of this offseason stuff.
