There's been a lot more than that.

Why don't we get Mike the Tiger (the human in the costume) to pull his dick out and harass the opposing fans yelling at them "Suck my tiger dick bitch!" They can mic him up and put it up on the big screens for everyone to enjoy.
I would pay $1000 for that shite baw.

I bring my 5 year old to the game. He knows the one golden rule; "You never repeat what you hear at the LSU game".

If we paid 100 to 850 bucks to see the Tigers, we have a right to say "knock it off"
If the students want to do this chant on their own dime and time they can have at it.
Public setting such as a stadium has boundaries on freedom of speech.
Head coach and AD made a statement...best to comply

Unfortunately it shouldn’t have to be this way. Sad!

You need to honestly chill out. There is nothing you can do to stop college kids from screaming a couple of cuss words. It’s ridiculous you’re making it this big of a deal. If you don’t want your kids to hear it, then don’t take them to the game. It’s quite simple. Deal with it, and stop complaining about it.

Stupid shite right here

What’s stupid is that everyone makes a big deal about it. Who cares? If you’re going to complain about it on a message board then don’t take your kids to the game, and you can avoid the situation you “hate so much”.

Why is it the trash that gets to own the football program? Our director of athletics has made it plainly clear that that sort of language is not acceptable. You are on the wrong side of history on this one

Wow, some have really turned this into a grand scandal for which the university and the people of Louisiana will have to reckon. Good luck trying to censor thousands of college students. I attended LSU in the early 90s and I still remember Jordy Hultberg taking the mic at an LSU basketball game to give us a lecture on morality for chanting "a-hole" during a song. The "scandal" has been going on for quite some time. So, good luck trying to clean it up. You will have just as much luck trying to clean up the language in music, film, literature, and your own home. If you are offended by the chant (while I am not, I understand how many would) and your children ask about it, use it as a teachable moment.
If the chant offends you because it is not becoming of your school, LSU. I get that too, but LSU will always be much, much bigger than a "dirty" chant at a football game. At this point, no one in the national media is talking about it, nor have they ever been talking about it. Only through our tired, moral ramblings do we make it a thing, one that exists only in our worlds beyond a Saturday night.

That where the stupid comes in big time.

Yes, and I don’t agree with our athletic directior on fricking shite. This goes the same way. There isn’t anything, anyone can do about it, so people need to stop complaining about it.

You do realize students PAY to go to school

If people will complain about their kids hearing it to this extent then don’t take your kids to the game? Not that hard, just enjoy the game.

yes, but that money has nothing to do with the football program. What does support the football program is donors and people buying tickets bringing their family to the games and buying the crappy over priced concessions.

I have just found that this generation thinks using af, f and other profanity as a means to lend weight to an argument. It is not this chant, go read articles written by writers less than 35, I find a tendency toward the use of profanity. The only way this stops is to stop playing the song. End of story.

I think you would make an excellent AD and spokesperson for LSU.

Here we go again... ANOTHER SNOWFLAKE THREAD
Posted on 10/18/18 at 2:58 pm to Tiger on the Rag
Nope, I probably wouldn’t. I’m also not applying for the job, or campaigning to get it. Not sure why you just said that. You realize just about every other university in America probably does the exact same thing. To the people who think it “makes the university look bad” need to look around at every other college. It’s kids from the ages of 18-22, I’m not expecting a world class act from these young adults.
