I'll give them a B just becuase they did a good job at blitzing and stopping the run vs. Auburn. But I can't figure these guys out. When it's an empty backfield vs. Auburn, they blitz. When it's third and 8, they don't even rush 1 linebacker vs. Miss State.

I will immediatly thank them and praise them if they blitz Tebow, Sttaford, and/or Wilson when we play these bug games coming up.

C - lots of communication issues between upstairs and sidelines and also in the game.

if we start to blitz more and put pressure on the qb while having less mccray on the field it will go up.

if they cont to struggle the end of the year could be interesting to see if les is loyal to them or finds a top end replacement

McCray is fine so long as we don't give him man-on-man responsibilities on deep routes. It's just not fair to the guy. I mean, look at him. He's shaped like a bowling ball. How the frick is he supposed to chase down blazing WRs on post-corner routes? It makes no sense. Madness, I tell ya. Madness.

I just wish they would stop doing that with him. it results on big first downs and tds.

I bet McCray would not have lost 3 steps to Ducre on that dropped pass 15 yards downfield.

You mean besides Miles and the players saying that there was lots of communication problems in getting the plays called?

...how about not getting the correct personnel on the team to match what the offense has in the game - resulting in McCray lining up on the other team's fastest WR in the slot?

C+ Unhappy with secondary play and coverage bust, would like to see less man and more zone, more blitzes
Very worried in the beginning about hiring from within and so far I have a right to be worried, still wished we would have brought in a proven coach for D

They are not 'doing that' with him...it's not their plan to match up McCray one on one with a slot WR. We are trying to get a different package on the field, but sometimes there is no time - and sometimes you get the people in and they don't line up correctly and sometimes when passing a guy off in zone the players take the wrong man.

It's not by design we let a RB isolate on our LBs - these are things we are actively trying to prevent. The issue is when it happens 3 or 4 times a game all the fans remember are those 4 plays and not the 60 other plays.

That's a pretty lame argument. Bottom line: The DCs know good and well that McCray will have to cover WRs one-on-one on deep routes with nobody to help him, and they do it anyway.

Only lame because you don't know what you are seeing...when McCray has the help he expects to have (when the calls are in the game in time and the players execute it) there are no big plays on him. When things fall through (like the AU TD catch) you see the result and the natives go rabble rabble.

Don't try to talk down to me, dipshit. Your fricking argument makes no sense. I don't feel the need to point out the rest of your logical mistakes.

I'm not talking down, just repeating what the coaches are saying in the press conferences...the fact you are down below me just naturally makes the words come on top of your head. Gravity and all...
