Don’t be so sensitive Lester. It’s pathetic man,

Btw Lawrence Taylor as a grown arse man with the giants was 6’3” 237. Marcel is 6’2” 200 lbs as a pan 18 year old freshman. Not saying he’s Taylor.

I’m saying your statement that he absolutely has to be 240 lbs is wrong. As is most of your takes.

Lawrence Taylor hasn’t played in 25 years. And yes, grown arse man. Far cry from 6’1” 195 lol

Are you saying Lawrence Taylor wouldn’t be good in today’s NFL?

I love how you keep just putting ambiguous numbers on players and say they can’t be good if they don’t hit those numbers. Zions on 6’6” so he can’t play in the post in the league huh?

They aren’t ambiguous

Who are your favorite 6’1” 225 pass rushers?

What about 6’1” 240?

Got any favorites?

I’m not diminishing anything. There’s just a prototype for this type of stuff. College teams pay attention to this stuff and nfl teams surely do.

Sure there are outliers but they are outliers for a reason. No need to get fussy about it. The means always correct itself

That boy needs to add some rice to his gumbo... he's playing DE at a little below or right at 200lbs in the SEC

His skill jumps off the chart though, he was an animal with the pressures

Well comparing him to the best pass rusher ever is ridiculous, but that wasn’t my point. That’s like saying every 6’1” 290 DT will make it cause Aaron Donald can

My point was players have grown at all positions. Lineman on both sides are bigger. LBs and safeties have grown. Weight training & nutrition are much different.

I rewatched the game. Dude is on fire. And you know the staff knows it. They played him in the biggest game of the year so far in key situations. Chaisson on one side with Brooks on the other. You fricking know that shite is dangerous.

Between Stevens and Brooks, we have two guys that are absolutely perfect for the S/LB hybrid role in the box.

If Stevens can get better in coverage, he will be a rich man.

The push to play Brooks up front makes me wonder what the staff thinks about his potential in coverage. Or maybe this is just a way to get him on the field faster.

Stevens is super overrated

He’s a liability in pass coverage vs very good receiving RBs and TEs, but overrated is a reach. He’s very good against the run and as a playmaker in the box.

Stevens played in the box early in the year but after Harris went down he’s absolutely playing a safety role.

He also got specifically targeted by Trask twice in coverage. One was a completion and the other an easy PI call. He’s in that role because of injury, not because it’s his primary strength.
