They slotted women's basketball more revenue sharing than men's baseball if I recall correctly recently at LSU. Women got 5% by themselves and LSU's baseball team got slapped in "other" which was 5%. I would think they care about women's basketball.

For whatever reason, LSU looked very uninspired in its three games. You would think that the team would be excited to have a chance to advance to a super regional for a chance to go to the WCWS. Total failure on the staff. It’s time. Probably past time, really.

Didn’t she recently get an extension? Probably has to be bought out. I agree that it should but I doubt it will. She has a top recruiting class incoming. If she is gone, I wonder what happens with these recruits? I wonder who enters the portal from this team? Edwards completely laid an egg in the Regionals. I don’t know what happened to her but she looked completely lost at the plate.

Might be a blessing, don't have to spend anymore money on the program this year. LSU doesn't have the bats or the pitching to make a run.

well yes it is football, then baseball, then women's basketball.....but, LSU softball is very popular and has great crowds. I for one love having a presence in girls softball, although I have grown very tired of being middle of pack over that last 8 years, and, now losing a regional at home for the 2nd time in 2 years.

She has 3 years left on her contract. $1.365 million. He is not going to pay that much to fire her. He’ll ride it out 3 more years.

I don't know why they extended her a couple years ago...she hasn't done anything in 8 years.
