Under any ordinary circumstance you would expect the ball to be thrown into the end zone. the 17 second that ran off the clock was not the biggest issue. the issue was (and has been the entire year) GC play calling at the 32 yard line.
the secondary issue is LM hands off approach and unwillingness to override the play.

I would love to have drinks with Miles and talk football. That would be greatness...I have a shitload of questions I would like to ask and none of them would have to do with why the field goal team was not on the field in the final second. JJ couldn't even spike it before the clock ran out dickfur. To me that sequence of events is irrelevent b/c in my opinion there is no way we get that kick off.
I am baffled and pissed as to why we are running it up the middle to kick a field goal on the 3rd down play.

wrong. I think he thought JJ would throw to the endzone, which he would have if the line had given him the time. He had to float it up since he was nailed when he had about 3 seconds to throw the ball.
