Anyone planning on golfing that Friday before?

DO NOT play in Bastrop. Both Pine Forest and Colovista are in pathetic shape. It's a shame because those used to be very nice.

I'm playing early Saturday morning with the primetime kickoff. Haven't decided where yet. Probably should book a hotel before figuring that out.

Party Barge Friday and hit the sunset for the Oasis
East 6th Friday night or north side brewery belt if it’s chill
Tailgate/bar hop west 6th on game day
Brunch in the domain Sunday.
Asleep by 4 pm Sunday and wake up refreshed for Monday

I live in Avery Ranch and it’s definitely one of the most popular public courses in Austin.
Terevista, Falconhead and Avery all now under same ownership and really quality courses.
U want some Hill country views
Crystal Falls in Leander TX in NW Austin
Lago Vista is another
More food for thought when visiting Austin you can go North to Georgetown TX (Sun city old people) north of Round Rock has 3 great courses and I love them cause it’s a 100 frickin degrees you can drive carts up to the greens and the older members leave after 9 so u can get 18 in 4.15-4.30 mins and with the amount of people in town and playing that weekend you will thank me the extra 20-25 drive worth it.

If you are staying around downtown and not familiar with the area I would go to Morris Williams. Its not far from campus!
