GOLD GAME shows our players, even more than simply showing up to the game, how much we are "BEHIND THEM".

Yeah..cause the only thing on the teams mind on the field was who was in gold, and who wasant...

Due to the PC bullshite nowadays. I think LSU games should be about drinking excessive amounts of bourbon, preferably something over 100 proof, and cheering for your team on every damn play. If you miss a play, you better be cussing the visitors during it. People around me seem to really hate the fact that I act like a drunken student. Guess what, at graduation I didn't have to hand in my balls. In fact I didn't go to either one of my graduations, so I apparently missed the hand in your balls ceremony. It's like people don't even want to be around folks having a good time anymore. I payed my money I want to watch in peace...frick off.

What really needs to be addressed is the crowd leaving in the second half.

Don't like it either, but I can relate. I left with about 7 minutes to go. Had I stayed til the end, it would have probably meant an extra hour sitting in traffic, and I drove from Mandeville. I'm sure many other people have similar situations.

lsu told me to wear a gold shirt for the UGA game in 98. We lost. I'll never do it again.

Ever since the asinine crackdown on bringing alcohol into the stadium, its trending that way.

maybe if me and you would have worn our normal shirts we would have won. but would that have been a good thing overall? we beat uga then gerry d does better and we don't fire him in 99 and get someoen other than saban.....

in other words, i chalk our recent success up to me and you...

My dad and I stayed until the end (always do) and he lives in Mandeville. And he's 67 years old. Just sayin'.

I mean everyone has a right to do what you want, but holy crap we are some spolied arse fans. If it isn't Florida or Georgia or Alabama or Auburn we act like a bunch of pansies. I'm proud to support LSU. They work hard and I feel that as they walk off the field after a hard fought victory they appreciate all the fans giving them a standing ovation. And when the stadium is more than half empty when this happens, I think it's ashame. This thread is about showing support by wearing a certain color shirt? frick that. You want to show support? Give 'em a hand as they head back into the locker room!

NOPE...plan on not getting home until 1 or 2 in the AM for every game, or don't come at all! What if that RB doesn't drop that wheel route pass and takes it to the house making it a 3 point game with 6 minutes left in the game??? You would have missed the most important part of the game, and it would have been better for you to just stay home to watch it on TV so you wouldn't miss it.

So you want to be like other teams? I like the stadium with all the different colors. This white, gold, purple, black out shite is retarded. I will be at every game and wear the LSU colors of my choice and will be a bigger fan than somebody that "follows the directions". You are probably a crowd follower in life too, with no ideas of your own wondering why you can't get ahead in life.

did you read my first post? ITS FOR ONE GAME AND THE KIND PEOPLE AT LSU ASKED YOU TO DO IT. I didn't ask...it wasn't a fan initiative.. we can have purple and gold for 7 other home games. im sure the people at lsu appreciate that you call them and their idea retarted and yes i wish our fan participation was at the level of these other schools. You are probably the loser who has to do things differently all the time because its "cool"...no need to make it personal...****

My friends and I don't leave till the band walks OUT of the stadium!

I'd prefer to attend the game and still get home by midnight. I paid full price for my tickets and I'll leave when I damn well choose.

Whatever part of the game I miss will be my problem.

A lot of Tiger fans were the same shirt each week. It would be easier to purple out
