My son and I are leaving in am Friday. Been to home games all my life but first ever away. I know quite a few people went to SEC championship. On Saturday, plans are to go to parade, College Football Hall of Fame and Fan Fest. Is there anything to do Friday afternoon/evening by stadium and looking at staying east of stadium, where to stay just East?

Thanks and Geaux Tigers!

Go to the Atlanta Aquarium, which is one of the best in the USA, the Civil Rights Museum, and College Football Hall Of Fame. Geaux Tigers.

We did World of Coke and the College Football Hall of Fame while there for the SECCG. This time we're doing the Aquarium. There's a fan event there on Friday evening. (I think from 4-8PM? Pep rally at 6:30PM, I believe.)

Sounds like you are trying to cram too much into too little time. You will find that everything takes a lot longer when at an away game than at a home game. There is a lot called the Home Depot lot that is right outside the stadium if you want to do some tailgating or just walk around.
