And i think 6-3 or 7-2 is actually more likely, so long as we play defense and dont lose mid week games

What if we work in another sweep of, say, Bama? 19-11 possible. Don't know if that gets us in the top 8 discussion, but we're fans and we can be stupid and talk like that.

I think 5-4 is expected, but getting to 6 wins is well within reach. We can capable of pulling off a sweep of Bama or Ole Miss. Then just win the other series. That leaves you only needing to take 1 from Vandy.

It will. Without looking at the numbers of any other teams across the country, typically 19 wins would put you in the top 8 discussion for sure. It could possibly win the west. Most likely no worse than the third best record in the SEC.
19 would maybe leave us needing to win a few in the SECT, depending on what the rest of the nation looks like.

The key is to finish top 3 in SEC to have a chance at top 8 national seed.
Right now it is a 4 way tie for third but the remaining schedule is in our favor as compared with UGA A&M and Aub.

LSU is sitting at 12-9, tied with UGA, Aub, and the Farmers.
Remaining schedule looks opportunistic:
@Bama 9-12 and fading fast
Ole Miss 7-14
@Vandy 10-11
And Arkansas is in 2nd place at 14-7, and goes to Auburn this coming weekend. Unfortunately they also get Vandy and Bama.
