You mean 2001-2011? Of course it was. Its 2015 tho and what I said is true.

You get the coach you deserve. Some people might think LSU deserves more and some might think Miles deserves more, but the fact is they both deserve each other and that's why they are still together .... for better or worse.

Why would anyone feel empathy for someone who's supposed favorite team had their best 11 years in program history but they didn't enjoy it.

You should probably step back and reevaluate things because it's nonsensical for anyone to be so miserable when their team has success. It's a YOU problem. Not anyone else's.

It's a shame you couldn't enjoy the best 10 year stretch in lsu history just because of a coach's style. The style that got lsu to its best 10 year stretch ever.

Ok. 4 of the last 5 years we've finished ranked in the top 15 and have a real shot to finish in the top 15 against this year.
5 top 15 finishes out of 6 seasons is a damn good accomplishment.

2011-2015 we had 4 top 15 finishes. Stop acting like 2014 wasn't the outlier.

At least 8 of these dumb frickers think Miles obtained his pay through fraud.
I swear it's like they love in a dream world where Miles' tenure wasn't the best decade of lsu football ever. Any other cfb fan base would be worshipping their most successful coach but not lsu. A portion of lsu " fans" shite on their own program's accomplishments just because they don't like Miles.

You have to admit that the process at LSU and the process at UGA were completely different.

what was Richt's buyout? bet that was completely different too, huh?

and Richt's team had not been slaughtered 3 weeks in a row.

they fired the dude and tried to make people believe it was mutual. bull shite. and now they are looking for a coach.

lsu thought they had the replacement lined up.

I wouldn't expect your sorry arse to understand anything that didn't originate in your own head or that of someone who agrees with you.

I honestly wasn't trying to attack you, I was just saying that I really don't understand not enjoying a successful run for your favorite team. My apologies.

But if you don't mind can you expound on this?

In what world do you live in where a 9-9 record in the SEC west the last three years is good? Its not good. Its not a dream that LSU, yes OUR LSU gets its arse stomped by Mississippi State, Auburn, and Arkansas last year and then gets their arse stomped by Ole Miss, Alabama, and Arkansas again this year. With our great recruiting every year there is NO reason we should be getting spanked like that. I can handle losing a couple of close games but I would like to live in a world where LSU doesn't get steamrolled 3 times a year. If that's what you call a dream world then maybe you're part of the problem.

He was an idiot for saying 0% chance. What an arse. He is a clown. In this world very few things are 0 or 100% especially when it comes to people.

In the last 3 years combined all of 4 west teams had less than 3 conf losses.
If 3 conf losses makes your season horrible, then Saban had 1 good year at lsu. Finishing in the top 15 is a good season.

The talent gap between bama and lsu is bigger than the gap between lsu and Ole miss.

I was for a change at head coach if it was an upgrade. I believe Jimbo is an upgrade but that's not what we were talking about. We were talking about Miles not earning his pay during his tenure.

He didn't get fired for just this year. Since 2009 Uga had 3 unranked finishes and a losing season.
Since 2009 lsu has 1 unranked finish( 4 out of 5 seasons we finished top 15) and nothing close to a losing season.

Prudent business people do not pay - they invest and seek ROI.

Real negotiators negotiate from a point of strength and always have a plan B or contingency plan.

Negotiating without plan B is a position of weakness and almost always ends in failure.

Exactly! The talent gap isn't much better but that doesn't answer why WE are getting our asses kicked. Surely the talent gap isn't that much so it has to be coaching. Look, I love Les and love what he did. And yes, a 10-3 season is a good season. Its not a great season. And I can't even enjoy this good season because of how frustrating the offense is and us not being competitive in 6 SEC west games the past 2 years. It's not like it used to be.

Late to the thread, but he did call time-out with 1 sec remaining in the first half on atm's 4th down. That certainly earns at least another year...priceless!

The best 10 year stretch in LSU history would most certainly include 2003. And if you cant see that, then its time to stop posting

So that leaves us with 2003 to 2012 as being the best stretch in LSU history.

2 Natl Championships
3 BCS appearances
4 SEC Championships
60-20 in conf .750
6 SECw titles
42-11 in west .792
10 Bowls (6-4)
4 NFL QBs
2 Natl Coach of the years

But you see, all that ended in 2012. Since then:
0 Natl Championships
0 SEC Championships
14-10 in conf .583
0 SECw titles
9-9 in the west .500
3 bowls (1-1)
0 NFL QBs
0 coach awards

The decline is real
