Yeah, I agree. My 15/22 for 190 prediction might be stretching it a little bit, but if it is, it's not by much. Still, let's say he is 13/22 for 170 yards with 2 td's and 0 interceptions, against a pretty decent Oregon team. In my books, that's not too bad at all. Especially whenever we are a 65/35 run/pass type of offense who just needs a game manager at the helm.

Still, these grade's of D+ are just ridiculous

D pretty harsh for Lee; he earned no less than a solid C. If you want to say he's a fifth year senior then give him the C-. D is just not supportable given his performance.

O and D lines A+
WR C-/D+ missed balls/ran pretty good routes to get open
LB C+
DB A
Kicking A- just because of a little lack of distance on kickoffs.
Rest of Special Teams A+ solid coverage forcing turnovers, not inexperienced miscues by the Ducks
Coaching A+ Had good game plan and kept team focused despite distractions and venue.

QB gets a C- and WR's get a fat fricking F. All other phases of the game were outstanding.

To be fair, the two drops came from our 3rd string RB and our back up TE.

I don't think the WRs played nearly as bad as people are making out.

Did I miss something with the linebackers?

I thought they played great.

QB: B- Lee wasn't asked to do too much, but did manage the game, and the offense. Zero turnovers.

RB: A- Hard to give anything lower than that considering 2 backs went for nearly 100 yards. 1 fumble hurts the grade. Ware picked up a lot of yards after contact. Ford broke a couple nice runs.

WR: D+ We have WR on our team? Seriously, they made a couple of key downfield blocks, but otherwise, they didn't help Lee much.

TE: B+ DP had 4 catches and all TE did a descent job of blocking. 2 drops by Clement hurts the grade here.

OL: A We lined up in a 2TE set, against 8 in the box and moved the ball. Pretty impressive. Pass protection was good all night long.

DL: A+ Our Dline pushed the Ducks Oline into the backfield all night long and got off their blocks and made numerous tackles. Reason #1 why UO couldn't throw down field.

LB: B Made some tackles. I saw Minter wiff at least 2 times. Baker is solid.

DB: A+ Reason #2 UO couldn't throw the ball down field. Coverage was tight a

ST: A The only thing keeping this from being an A+ was the missed PAT. ST created 2 turnovers- 1 went for a TD. That's incredible. Also, 2 for 2 on FG.

Coaching: A+ Despite the off-the-field issues this team was "READY". Defensive gameplan was solid. Offensive gameplan was ultra-conservative, and we won handily.

Hard to complain about being last year's #2 team, on national TV, during prime time. We were the weekend's marquee match-up, and our players/coaches delivered.

"The only reason I disagree with the QB grade is what grade will be given to a 250+ pass yards, 3 TD, 1 or less INT's performance? B- would be saying this perfomance was close that."

I can see this line of thinking but first of all, my post may have been a little misleading in that I said I considered a B- but ultimately went with C+, which to me means "a little bit better than merely passing." I am not beholden to stats - primarily because I think they can be misleading - but I also do not believe in ignoring them. What I really look for in QB play is whether the QB accomplished what was needed and I felt Lee largely did that. As for your question as to a hypothetical grade given the stats you suggest, I would say that those kind of numbers would likely result in an A grade which is quite a bit higher than the C+ I would give.

Hey, reasonable minds can differ, but I liked what I saw from Lee despite a shaky stat line.

By the way, I admittedly did not expect much from our QB's even before JJ's suspension and I might have a tendency to grade on a curve with them. I am trying not to do that, though.

2 dumbasses in this thread.

The guy who started it and the guy who gave receivers better grade than the qb. LOL
People that aren't fans of Jlee are pretty easy to spot.

Here's how I grade them.
qb.. C
rbs.. B
oline.. A
wrs .. D

defense everybody gets an A

st.. B
coaching... A plus

Funny, I did this stupid grading thing for Lee right after the game. I turned to her and said I would give him a B- and I still stand by that.
