Not sure what you're trying to say to me here.

My point is that he was projected to be a Top 5 pick basically after his freshman season. Since then he's had some injuries, but we can all agree 2020 season was a crap show. I think he needs to show some resiliency here and be able to come back later this season. Otherwise, I can see him slipping a few picks....not dramatically. Of course, much of that will also be determined by the needs of each NFL team in picks 5-20.

They played different positions. Mathieu a nickle safety that blitzed and wreaked havoc.

Mathieu played corner, not safety. In those days LSU often played with 4 DBs on the field. Mathieu was one of the corners. When they went nickle or dime they moved him over the slot to take advantage of his other-worldly pass rush skills.

The TD brain trust as recently as two weeks ago were saying that Emery would be in the portal and never play again for LSU. He is still with team as well. I’m sorry that Stingley Sr hurt some of y’all’s feelings on the radio, but you all really need to get a grip and find a way to handle something not going the way you want that doesn’t include shredding a player who has been a star for LSU.
