They are a level ahead of us at this point in the season. But you know this is going to be the kind of shite where UT drops the series to some mediocre team in a few weeks to make us scratch our heads.

I’m sure this is a joke, but who do some of y’all think Texas is? They are on a very short list with LSU, Arizona State, maybe Arizona or Stanford for 2nd best college baseball program of all time behind USC. I just looked it up, and they have 85 wins in Omaha to our 40 and 35 appearances to our 18.
They may have been a bit down lately during the end of the Augie era, but it’s still fricking Texas baseball. To think it is our birthright to roll over there in our 1st time away from Alex Box in a cold weather early season series the 1st weekend of March and just dominate them because “we’re LSU” is just fricking retarded. They don’t give a frick about the name on the front of our jerseys. They’ve got their own names on the front of theirs that they have a lot of pride in themselves.
Have we played poorly? Probably. But anything we got this weekend we were going to have to go out and actually earn. They weren’t just gonna bend over cause “we’re LSU.”

Of course it was a joke. It's the line people use for when we lose to Bama in football. I'm not even slightest bit concerned about this weekend in baseball. Nothing has changed. We can still get a top 8 seed and win the SEC. That's really all that matters to me. I couldn't care less whether we are the 1 seed or the 8 seed, it's all the same to me.
