I give JJ his due. And I give JL a pat on the back for giving his all against the best D in the land. We NEED both and it's evident now.

Looking forward to the WKU game this Saturday. I will be there and want to watch JL get a few long completions and then see JJ execute that option several times on a TD drive. Then we'll enjoy the rest of the scrimmage.

Here's a fan of JL & JJ both holding up the crystal ball!!

They will talk about the Bama game and how he put the team on his shoulders for the next 50 years

I support both QB's but putting the team on his shoulders is quite a stretch.

I give JJ and CLM credit for going with what was working rather than sticking with the tried and true. Bama was loaded up to stop JL and SW and we were going nowhere fast trying to pound it up the middle.

Agree with Wolfhound.

And agree with those who say we are going to need both. I'm already worried about Arkansas!

JJ is a good guy. He is physically talented, but he is lost running our offense. He is adept at running the speed option and that was enough to get us by Bama. I have said all along that I am glad we have him as a weapon, but he is sub par as a passing QB and he rattles. Of course so does Lee especially after a mistake. Here is to the future and the hope that Mett or one of our other recruits can step it up a bit next year.
