I did and weren't you one of the ones who gave me some backlash for it ? I think you were. I may have to go look that up. I mentioned it when Jaxson Dart had a huge run vs Florida. Then it was post after post about Nuss beat Dart head to head. LMAO. If that's how the metric works, then Dart would be better than Jayden. See how dumb that is ?

This is definitely an interesting game...

It was the best the offense has looked all season. And that was against Oklahoma, who might have the best defense we've played all year; and they were playing with some motivation.

I think Hilton makes a huge difference; he can get deep on any team. He finally caught the passes. Since he was coming off injuries and was maybe pressing, I'm inclined to say he turned a corner, instead of having a lucky game. Once that threat is established, your safeties are back and the run has room.

Let's see it.

I do think posters here have a weird obsession with quarterback runs, but Nuss does need to take off if it's open.

My whole point was Nuss should run when the lane is open. Had he done that vs Aggy, LSU likely wins that game.

Part of a good play call is calling a play you know the players can execute. If execution is the issue then the coaches either need to coach better during the week or call plays they’re confident players can execute.

Meh. That’s a two way street. The players are fricking legal adults and need to do their jobs that they are now paid very well to do. Also, the playbook and terminology weren’t radically overhauled. Most of the offensive players have been running a version of this system for 2-4 years. They shouldn’t get a free pass for all execution mistakes.

For his part, Kelly did say they simplified some things a couple of weeks ago and that seemed to have helped. But that can’t become the norm. The staff and the players have to get on the same page.

Was way better but if BK is serious about competing for a championship he has to move on from Sloan

So Sloan gets a pass and the coaches are always right? It's all about execution and never the play call?

I get that players need to be held accountable and the fans certainly aren't right all the time, but there were way too many times the play calling was predictable this year. It's a joke that most of the rant knows what's getting called on 2nd and 10.

Also, coaches are some of the dumbest people on the planet. The fact that someone like Sam Pittman is making $5.5M a year is joke. I can make the same in-game coaching calls that he makes for a fraction of the price.

At the end of the day everything is on the coaches. Everything. They recruit and coach the players so when it goes wrong it is the coaches’ responsibility. No other way to see it.

The fact he refused to run boggles the mind. It was so stupid. So stupid!

Agree. He had lanes open and chose to not run.
