He did nothing on the field to warrant the faux outrage from the rant about his dismissal
The offense struggled early, which was not surprising considering:
a) a new scheme
b) the injury to the key player, Guice
The offense came together as the season progressed, to the point that we finished with a 300 yd passing game. Had a big rushing game in that stretch, too.
As a fan watching the development, you could see that the system was working. WRs were getting open, RBs were getting yards, and what's more, you had multiple secondary players getting bigger roles in the scheme.
A month ago, we were entering bowl season on a high note, and anticipating that Brennan would be indoctrinated in this offense (and Narcisse as well), and the offense would be more explosive.
Now, we're starting over again, for... what?

Exactly. The fact that Canada did good things on offense with a limited QB at the helm seems to be lost on some people. You are exactly right...with a more accurate passer, LSU would have had an excellent chance to beat Bama this year. The plays were there in the passing game, the execution was not.

Oh well, some people are never satisfied, it seems. Against Alabama, Canada's offense did much better in 2017 than did Orgeron/Ensminger's offense did in Tiger Stadium in 2016. With a more accurate downfield passer, LSU may very well have beaten Alabama this year. The pass plays were there all night. The receivers simply needed someone to get them the ball on time.

This. Which is about 90% of this board which leads to nonsensical comments about a “Gimmick Offense”

Rumor has it hurt the waterboy's feelings with a crack about his lack of offensive knowledge.
