Oregon St. and Indiana had the easiest roads to Omaha IMO. While I think they're good teams, it's tough to tell if they're hot or if they've beaten cold teams.

You know as well as anyone that hot can turn to cold by facing 1 shut down ace or not even that. Momentum can help teams sometimes (like LSU in 08) but I'm not too big on the hot and cold stuff.

Please 8 lb, 6 oz baby Jesus, let the LSU Tigers win it all this year. I promise to not let Atheists win arguments in free speech alley anymore.

Absolutely. But I'm thinking more along the lines of playing solid baseball vs. winning as a result of the other team playing poorly. Indiana won because Florida State fell apart. Oregon St. won because Kansas St. had mediocre pitching at best. They'll be facing much better competition in Louisville and State.

I'm saying this now, but I know I'm going to eat my words later.

I'm so worried about being too confident but this team seems to really want it. We are solid top to bottom and deep in every aspect. It's quite astonishing. The weakest spot of this team is maybe 1 or 2 batters in the order at the bottom and that's it. Defense and pitching are top notch.

I would take LSU over any team in the nation in a 7 game series. Unfortunately, we are in a 4 team double elimination bracket, to be followed by a best of 3 series.

Anything can happen in this format.

This sucks. No college baseball on tonight. Guess I'll watch a movie? Goodness, the weekend can't get here soon enough.

The panic in that paragraph is pervasive, isn't it? Well, it did not last.

Not with Nola becoming NOLA again in the super regional

I feel the same way, and I really like our bracket regardless of what anyone thinks. I'd rather our bracket than the other. I think all 3 teams are beatable, we won't have to see Rodon. UNC has been less than impressive the last month or so, but they are extremely gritty. UCLA has solid pitching, but I think we can score 3 or 4 runs to win the game. I don't think UCLA can do that against us. I like our chances to at least be in the driver's seat on Friday.

Yeah that little one liner was pretty funny

Nola wasn't his best vs Sam Houston State, but he still gave up 0 earned runs It was the 3 errors behind him that gave up 5 runs and we still won.

Bubbz: In all honesty, it's a wash for me. I think Louisville may be the next best team top to bottom in the tourney with the number of strong arms they have. I sure as hell hope we can at least make it to the championship because I don't wanna leave early. :/
