Not with as much enthusiasm as other school's efforts.

Why don't you refresh us on the number of top-10, top-15 and top-20 teams Georgia, Florida, and LSU have on their schedules?

USC has virtually no real top-10 teams on its schedule, and the sports media just smiles and bows.

As I implied before, travel distance has nothing to do with courage or guts for a college football team--playing an SEC schedule is bravery personified!

ESPN has got a point. LSU and Florida are really hurting themselves with their scheduling practices.

When was the last time either school won a National Title. It will HAUNT them.

Uh, I think I would consider the Buckeyes a real Top 10 team.

question- do you think Booty held ya'll back the last two seasons? watching Sanchez last week, you guys seemed like ya'll are returning back to the Palmer, Lienart dominant years.

LSUTangerine you can chime in , also.

Booty while a very good QB obviously held us up the loss to Stanford. He was hurting with the thumb or finger and should have been forthright about it, since it was obviously afecting him. With that being said, I am sure no one with any confidence wants to come out, so I do not blame him. Either way he hurt us and without that loss, we woudl have been the ones pounding OSU.

Also, while a good field general, he lacks the consistent fire that Sanchez is reported to have and showed in game one. Reports from Socal are that the team really gets behind Mark, much more so than they did bOOTY. I wich Booty had played with the fire that he did in both of the last Rose bowls, where he tore it up with his stats and gusto.

I am glad Sanchez is just a junior. He may slip up in a game this year, as it is his first real year playing. Maybe not though.

ummm, are you for real? This had nothing to do with our original discussion. Let's recap since you are obviously slow.

You said- Florida does travel b/c they play miami and florida state.

I said - they're in the same state.

You said - it doesn't matter b/c it's about the quality of the opponent.

I said - okay that wasn't your original argument though and brought up your point again.

NOW you said - well, how many top 15, 27, 94 teams does SC play compared to GA, FLA, LSU.

NOW I say - you probably have recently played more top 15 teams (whatever stat that is) than SC but what the F*&K does that have to do with your original argument??!!

How many top-10 opponents does an SEC team have to schedule to prove they are as brave as USC?

When has any of these left coast homers ever critized USC's annual PAC-of-Posers schedule?

fixed it for you.

OK, my bad, I didn't realize the extent of your inability to comprehend what you read. The topic of this thread is not my argument.

Let me draw a picture for you. The topic of this thread is a red herring--a logical fallacy in which one purports to prove one's point by means of irrelevant arguments.

In other words, travel length has nothing to do with guts. Only the bravest choose to play in the SEC where they are guaranteed to compete against the largest number of top-10 teams year in and year out. Anyone who questions the guts of the SEC football player is clueless.

I can promise you, that USC would NEVER, and i mean Never wish to trade their schedule with LSU or many other teams in the SEC. You cant tell me they would rather play UG, UF, AU this year.

After reading through all of these comments... This is my thought EXACTLY! USC HAS to travel "across the country" to try to find real competitors! We play real competitors for almost EVERY conference game. Distance in travel doesn't mean anything (3 hrs on a planve vs. 2hrs). BIG DEAL! Going to Florida for LSU is much greater than USC going to tOSU.

If LSU played in the PAC10, then YES we would have to travel, but if we win the SEC with our schedule we will still go to Miami!

I agree...
and if USC is such a hot team, why do they not have the balls to demand a "Conference Championship Game" ...start there...and proof your worth.

why not, two of them ( UG,AU ) they would destroy, already did to AU twice, UG defense certainly won't slow them, but UF would give'm a match.

I meant Florida, Georgia, and Auburn. Im not saying USC cant hang with these teams. They would fair very well. But if you are trying to convince me that USC would TRADE their schedule for this one, then you are out of your damn mind. Especially playing this type of schedule every year.

man, read what I said again, obliviously your comprehension skills aren't very good. USC would destroy both Ga. and Auburn, is that better.

AU doesn't want to play them anymore, but UF would give them a match IMO. put it all together and that means USC would fare very well in the SEC.

Just like they destroyed Stanford last year. huh. You are just so ready to crown USC arent you.

Man, read what i said again, because your comprehension skills arent that good. I said, they wouldnt want to trade their schedule with an SEC schedule. More opportunities to lose in the SEC. Sure they can beat one of the teams in our conference in a given year. But would they run the gauntlet every year in the SEC like they do the PAC-10. Hell no. Its not even an argument.
