no really, LSU should schedule home and home with some of these major programs and go to their home first and kick the living daylights out of them, that's what USC does, that's one of the reasons they get so much respect. It might take awhile to get the home game in TS, like Va. Tech, but eventually they'll have to own up to a arse whipping.

Ah, I don't know. LSU is such a small market as compared to USC, Notre Dame or Ohio State. We don't pull near the numbers in those polls that the above mentioned schools do simply based on the fact that we don't have the numbers of fans.

they have the fanbase across America, but like I mentioned earlier, they should go to these other teams home stadiums first and beat them, otherwise ESPN is gonna keep dogging them like this season with the 4 creampuffs on the schedule.

There needs to be some rule that Top 10 programs shouldn't be able to schedule junk like this...
I understand why K-State started this crap...they were horrible and loaded up on Bowl subdivision teams to get some wins and confidence.
LSU doesn't need to do this...they've arrived and should try and get some name teams.
All the big programs should be scheduling each other to create inter-sectional rivalries. Like Notre Dame used to play Miami.
All local second-tier sister schools should be banned...no Tulane in the South, no Idaho in the West, no North Texas, Troy, or San Diego St.

This is what happens when a reporter doesn't look past what the existing scedules are. LSU has made numerous attempts to do just what the whole country is doing. Which is of the 3 non-conference games, one vs. a national opponent, and the other two as glorified practices.

didn't i just explain this yesterday???
LSU PLAYS AS MANY OR MORE TOP RANKED OPPONENTS AS USC, OHIO STATE OR OKLAHOMA. THE FACT IS THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO SCHEDULE AN OUT OF CONFERENCE TEAM IN ORDER TO HAVE TWO GAMES AGAINST TOP TEN OPPONENTS EVERY YEAR.
this only talks about our regular season schedule, and doesn't include the fact that in order to play in the NC game, we'd likely have to play another top ten opponent in the SEC Championship game.
what is most important is the OVERALL SCHEDULE that each team plays.
LSU's schedule is more difficult this season than last.
fans of USC and OSU who bash LSU's schedule are just using flawed logic to make their team's schedules look better.
